Yeah I've caught 1 fish total over the last 2 days

Dad caught 3 today on a jig, I caught 1 on a rage craw, all shallow. I spent a lot of time throwing big baits with no luck, I had what I estimate to be a 4-5lber follow one of my lures to the boat and got spooked off but that's part of the game. Better luck tomorrow if we can get out of the wind and of this cold doesn't shut down what was already a slow bite (for us)

Luckily the motor works great despite the sticker issue but it does make you wonder who approved that

I like the small Cotton Cordells (not sure exact weight) on an ultralight or light spinning rod in small ponds to catch numbers (bass). Tons of fun!

So typically in the spring I'd wanna punch some grass. But there aint no grass... Now what! I'll be fishing all day every day March 11-18. Everyone's talking about the amazing deals at walmart... Mine (okc nw expwy) has garbage items on clearance. The only halfway decent deal is a craw color ratl trap for $4. I didn't buy anything

We have a pond like that here. A lot of times I throw a lipless crankbait and keep it away from the bottom. I like the drop shot idea though

For me 80% are in original packaging but I have 3 3600 boxes that I keep in my tackle backpack full of plastics so I don't have to lug my whole plastic arsenal around. One is full of GYB senkos, one is flukes, one is finesse/drop shot/shaky head type worms (trick worms, robo worms, etc). For the rest they're in original packaging sorted into gallon ziplocs that are labeled. Worms, senkos, lizards, brush hogs, craws...

I'm going on a retreat with my college this weekend, I'm in it for the fishing there's a lake on the campground. Seems like it's been awhile since I've fished so I'm excited. Here's what I brought, along with a 3 piece Cabelas rod and a Lews Tournament MG

I'm going to attempt to not buy anymore lures for the rest of the semester... Is this possible? I don't know. But it is probably good practice to show some self restraint for once I need to do this because I'm getting married in May and my soon to be wife is headed to grad school. This means I'll be the sole provider for the next three years. So I've got to start saving for my impending bills somehow. Wish me luck.

Yall need to drop the carp thing. This guy said they're bass and he clearly saw them, how are you gonna keep giving him crap about it? I get offering up some suggestions, but how many people do we need to tell this guy he's wrong before it's enough? Just take his word for it or go away, jeez. To treat a member like this is absurd, especially a new one. I expect better from this site.
