Fourbizz, with all due respect, I grew up in the oil patch. I am NOT an arm-chair oilman. I KNOW what it takes to develop a discovery and bring it to the market. LOL comments like yours simply highlight your ignorance and serve to aggravate the shirt out of people who know what they are talking about.

Simp, I have done all that I can do. It's up to you to contact the members who have so graciously offered to help out. I'm too old and ornery to be a baby sitter, so the rest is up to you. For what it's worth, I have not offered you a bed in my room, because my roomie and I are both smokers, we both drink, and Kent farts more than ten gay men at a cabbage eating contest.

One well does not a reservoir make. It will probably take another five years of drilling to accurately define the size of the reservoir. Figure a minimum of fifteen years before any meaningful production from that field.

OK, just curious. I'll respond to the poll. Let's see how many of our 20,000 members also bother to reply. My guess is that less than one half of one percent of the members will bother to provide input to yet another poll. So much for statistics.

Road Trip Update - 3/11/09 Well folks, it looks like we have thirty-five confirmed attendees; thirty-three of whom have registered. The remaining two deadbeats continue to be * and Senko77. CJ, R520dvx and his wife Niksfishinmom may join us at the Monday or Tuesday night dinners. Simp is still searching for a place to lay his weary head at night. He is 27 years old, single, doesn't drink or smoke, and best of all, doesn't snore (according to him.) Will someone please extend a helping hand?

I have a long history of working in the oil industry. About three years ago I posted my resume' with an internationally recognized petroleum industry search firm. My intent was to work overseas for several years, make a lot of money, and then sit back and fish. Well, nothing happened until a couple of months ago. Then, it started. About two months ago I started receiving e-mails from so-called legitimate companies located in England. The companies were all looking for experienced personnel and were offering $30,000 to $40,000 a month, plus housing and all expenses paid. Does anyone want to guess where the jobs were located? You guessed it. Nigeria. I was so excited about making so much money that I couldn't hit the Delete button fast enough.
