It's an aftermarket attachment, provided you have the right motor. Don't remember the price of the iPilot, but the 80# Terrova with the iPilot set me back about $1500.

Geez, What a bonehead!

For emergencies I always keep a roll of toilet paper and a couple of rubbers on board.

I have the Minn Kota Terrova with the i-Pilot. It does everything the Power Pole will do, plus a LOT more. The i-Pilot will hold my boat to within a five foot radius, regardless of the depth of the water. It's the greatest thing since the invention of sliced bread.

Uh, I think it was in about one foot of water. ;D

Jack, I went from a PB of 4-6 to a 7 plus! At least two new PB's in a one hour period! I was ecstatic to have the 7-1. 7-10 is obviously much better, but I'm no less ecstatic. Thanks for the clarification. Just out of curiosity, could you have misread the scale and the bass weighed 13-10?

Ken, I didn't fall out of the boat, but Jack did. He landed on his back and hit a submerged stump with a glancing blow. He's a little sore, but none the worse for wear. He's also a little sore at me because of my inept use of the net. He lost a big one at the side of the boat because of me. :-[

Well, we didn't finish in the money, but thanks to Jack, I was able to establish a new PB of 7-1. That eclipses my old record of 4-6. Go to the "My Outing" board to see a photo of my beautiful fish. I'll leave it to Jack to tell the rest of the story. I'm too tired and too exited to elaborate.

This week-end Jack (Fishfordollars) and I fished the Skeeter Owners Tournament at Lake Fork. Jack owns a Skeeter and invited me to be his co-angler. To my great fortune I agreed to fish with him. Prior to this tournament my PB was 4-6. Today I brought in a 5-6 AND a 7-1! When I pulled in that seven-pounder I was so excited and shaking so badly that Jack had to remove the fish from the net and then remove the hook. I was just a pile of jelly. Jack thanks for being a great baby-sitter, an even better teacher, and a great friend. I promise that I will get better with the net. As for the rest of the tournament story, I'll leave that to Jack. We already have a problem with heroin, cocaine and marijuana abuse and have had it for umpteen years. We also have a problem with alcohol abuse and have had it for umpteen years. Alcohol prohibition was a dismal failure, as are the other drug prohibitions. Bass or Bass is right. Legalize, control and tax.

It's another Tracker, but it's a TV-18 with a 150 HP Merc. Compared to the old boat we used to fish out of, it's like fishing from an aircraft carrier - and it will get you from point A to point B in a hurry.

Jack is way out of line here. It wasn't lack of attention. It was laziness. ;D Luckily, I learn from my mistakes. Anywho, I'm looking forward to a week-end of fun and learning.

Rhino, when we were at Pickwick the lake level had risen so much that, in one cove, my GPS showed that we were a hundred yards inland. It was correct. Ghoti caught a nice base that was hanging around a Bar-B-Que pit. I felt sorry for those folks whose RV's were swamped.

There are no less than ten lakes, both large and small, within a one hour drive of Tulsa. All are capable of producing double digit bass. When are you planning on arriving in Tulsa? I have a boat with an empty seat if you are interested.

Thanks for the good wishes everyone. Lucky for us, the tornado was a small one and had lifted off the ground a bit when it hit my neighborhood. Lots of trees mangled but no major damage. Attached are a few pictures of my boat, which had a large branch get tossed onto it. The boat is parked between the two houses. Note the branch laying on the boat. It's about six inches in diameter. It missed the motor by less than an inch. Whew! A closer shot. A picture from the front of the boat. It's under there somewhere.

Remove the motor cowling and check to see if there is a cat underneath it.
