Glen, this ain't my dog and pony show. I'm just the poor sap who is trying to make sure that everything goes right for the attendees, the sponsors, and the Pros, should they choose to show up. The sponsors and the Pros will ask Glenn "How many people will be there?" At this point, Glenn can only guarantee nine people, plus his volunteer crew. If you were a sponsor or a Pro would you spend any time, energy, or money to attend such a function? I wouldn't. So, it boils down to two options. We either have a good turn-out, say fifty people minimum, or we abort the mission as an official Road Trip. Those who still want to attend are welcome to do so, but everyone will be on their own.

Well, it could be the ladder I installed on the stern, or the new carpeting, or the Hotfoot, or the column mounted tilt/trim, or the on-board charger, or the Minn Kota Terrova with iPilot, or the burglar alarm, or the LED's that come on when a hatch is opened or the motorized trailer dolly. I think what I like the best is the trailer dolly.

Simp, if they are old metal tanks I would strongly suggest that you replace them. Metal tanks are notorious for rusting at the top of the tank where condensation takes place and then dropping the rust flakes into the fuel.

What you folks don't know is that there are two more large groups who will be holding tournaments out of the park at the same time we will be there. I'm getting pressure from the park folks to firm up the number of people we will have attending so they can allocate meeting rooms, dining arrangements, etc. Normally, I procrastinate with the best of them. Just ask my wife about my honey-do list. However, in this case it's beginning to work against all of us.

Here are my thoughts. Despite all of the great intentions of many of the members, only nine of you have officially signed up (excluding us Coordinators and Moderators.) As far as I am concerned, the Official road trip is in great danger of being scuttled due to lack of commitment. I haven't spoken with Glenn about this yet, and this only my personal opinion. Guys and Gals, either crap or get off the pot. If I don't receive at least twenty more sign-ups by March 15th I'm going to recommend to Glenn that we abort the road trip for this year. Glenn, feel free to correct me if my assumptions are wrong.

My favorite condition is to have a couple of bourbons before dinner, a couple of glasses of wine with dinner, and several glasses of cognac after dinner. It places me in the perfect condition - to go to bed.

Bing is the same thing as Virtual Earth, just a Beta version. I prefer V.E. at this time, although the aerial photos are the same. To me V.E. is a lot less cumbersome to use.

X3. Just make sure that there are no air bubbles coming out of the upper hole along with the oil. When I re-lube my lower unit I fill it until oil starts coming out of the hole and then I stop and wait a few minutes to make sure all of the air has been evacuated. Then I add more oil as needed.

If I'm not mistaken, there is only one major refined products pipeline that runs through TN. ALL gasoline destined for TN runs through that pipeline. The various retail marketers load the gas into their tanker trucks, pour in their secret additives and take it to their respctive service stations. Marathon gas is the same as all the rest.

I don't want to hi-jack the thread, but if you start your boat with a key, then attach the boat plug to your key ring with a clip of some sort. As soon as you insert the key into the ignition you will realize that you forgot to install the plug.
