  1. Brian, I dropped out of the corporate world and started my own business about twelve years ago. It seems like yesterday. I wish you nothing but success and freedom from the nightmare of "How am I going to make payroll this week?" Been there. Done that. Still doing it. Never a dull moment. Good Luck, my friend.
  2. Man, egotists like that that twerp really hack me off. Revenge, had it been me, would have been sweet indeed! Oh, and spare me the "turn the other cheek" bit. I'm with J-Francho on this one.
  3. I'm pretty sure that NE1 is not a member of this forum, but others may be able to help you.
  4. Why is the guy in the center guarding his crotch? ;D
  5. This is a joke, isn't it?
  6. I use a great product. It's called Dawn dish washing detergent.
  7. ghoti, you beat me to it.
  8. Yeah, that one cracked me up. Good stuff, Glenn!
  9. Great pics guys! Keep up the good work!
  10. I very much enjoyed all of the photos; with the exception of the picture of that ugly old man.
  11. I wanted to post a picture of my favorite ride, but she wouldn't let me. ;D
  12. Thanks BL, but you would have figured wrong. I can't stand the critters.
  13. Gentlemen, my heartfelt thanks for your kind words and condolences. Gumbo (that was his name) lived a long happy life and died in his sleep. Who else could ask for more? I miss him greatly and will cherish the memories. Such is life.
  14. Scroll down to the next Fork thread for more info.
  15. I don't drink while on the water, but I don''t mind if my passenger has a couple of beers.
  16. My old dog died in his sleep last night. He was fourteen years old. Gawd, I can't believe how much I loved that mutt and how much I miss him. After all these years he was a part of the family. :'(
  17. dick, assuming both head units are networked to the same antenna, wouldn't the displayed coordinates on each unit be the coordinates of the antenna? I know I'm splitting hairs due to the inherent inaccuracy of GPS in general.
  18. I'd pay at least $50 to see you float around in an inflatable raft. Well, here it is, or was. It had a trolling motor, depth finder and even a GPS unit. Note the registration on the bow.
  19. If the water you fish in has the potential of getting rough, then never anchor by the stern.
  20. I live in Tulsa. If you plan on using that boat on public waters it MUST be registered. Several years ago I had an inflatable raft and had to register it.
  21. Is that really called for..... Absolutely! Even the most cursory internet search would have provided volumes of information.
  22. I'm with Rhino on this one. My wife doesn't like to fish or want to fish. She's a CPA, so the Spring time of year demands all of her time and, lucky for me, she's glad to get rid of me. This is the time of year when I plan all of my out-of-state fishing trips. Lucky me! ;D
  23. Apparently, you didn't search very hard. Try some of the more obscure places like Bass Pro, Cabella's, and Academy. Or you could Google "lake contour maps." You might also want to try www.fishinghotspots.com and www.atlanticmapping.com
  24. Whazza matter Chris? Have you already worn out all of those reels you won last year?
