Gentlemen, my heartfelt thanks for your kind words and condolences. Gumbo (that was his name) lived a long happy life and died in his sleep. Who else could ask for more? I miss him greatly and will cherish the memories. Such is life.

dick, assuming both head units are networked to the same antenna, wouldn't the displayed coordinates on each unit be the coordinates of the antenna? I know I'm splitting hairs due to the inherent inaccuracy of GPS in general.

I'd pay at least $50 to see you float around in an inflatable raft. Well, here it is, or was. It had a trolling motor, depth finder and even a GPS unit. Note the registration on the bow.

If the water you fish in has the potential of getting rough, then never anchor by the stern.

I live in Tulsa. If you plan on using that boat on public waters it MUST be registered. Several years ago I had an inflatable raft and had to register it.

I'm with Rhino on this one. My wife doesn't like to fish or want to fish. She's a CPA, so the Spring time of year demands all of her time and, lucky for me, she's glad to get rid of me. This is the time of year when I plan all of my out-of-state fishing trips. Lucky me! ;D
