  1. Just to reiterate, do not try to start your motor in the driveway unless you have water running to it. You can burn up your water pump impeller in as little as fifteen seconds.
  2. My Tracker TV-18 has a galvanized trailer. I bought it used, but the original seller was Dusty Rhodes Marine. You might want to contact them, because I'm sure that the galvanized trailer is an after-market item. Tracker would never offer the galvanized option. I think Rhodes is located in Tyler, TX, but fishfordollars can provide you with more info than I. Send him a PM.
  3. I'm going to take a youngster fishing this year. Say, someone around fifty. ;D
  4. X2. I have both of the season one and two DVD's. I watch both at least twice a year and learn.
  5. I don't really lean, I just walk in very tight circles. ;D
  6. I couldn't make it that day. I was judging a pole vaulting competition at our local nudist colony.
  7. buds, you are the victim of a fax autodialer. This is now illegal. Your cell phone provider has probably logged all of these illegal calls. Get yourself a good lawyer and sue the company that is sending these faxes. They can be fined up to $25,000 PER FAX.
  8. Happy Birthday!
  9. Well said, seeing as how you are a banker. ;D
  10. If you have wheels I can tell you about much better places to fish than Lynn Lane. Are you fishing from the bank?
  11. WW, a 22" bass is a biggun almost anywhere, and especially at your Latitude. If you want to go to a place where you have a high probability of catching Big bass then you will have to travel further south. My recommendation would be Lake Fork in NE Texas. On the other hand, if you would be content with catching maybe a six pound bass without having to travel so far, then I would recommend a place in NE Missouri called Trophy Country. www.trophycountry.com. Although it's a six hour drive for me from Tulsa, I fish there three or four times a year. PM me if you would like further info.
  12. There are too many variables to answer your question with any sort of accurately. Anywhere between $6000 and $20,000.
  13. I'm with you guys. Eventually Lowrance will wise up to the fact that XP will eventually go by the wayside and revise their software to be compatible with the newer operating systems. In the meantime, we will just have grin and bear it.
  14. No offense Wackyworm, but my first thought was "Anyone who would ask such a stupid question is either a shrink, a reporter, or is bored out of his mind." During my professional career I've undergone a number of psych tests wherein a number of dumb-assed questions like yours are asked. e.g. "If you were an animal, would you prefer to be a tiger or a rabbit?" I've also watched reporters with no less stature than Barbara Walters ask the same sort of stupid questions. Regardless of my tirade, I'm sure you will receive many answers - all from people who are as equally bored. Cabin fever rules!

  16. Simp, you had better be nice to me. I know where you will be sleeping while at Pickwick. Capiche?
  17. Is this the Stupid Question/Stupid Answer game? I've never played it myself, but I've watched a lot of television reporters do so. :
  18. Well, since the nearest BPS store is about five miles from me, I expect that I will attend - several times. ;D
  19. Wow! Watching that LunkerCam was almost as exciting as watching grass grow!
  20. That is because you are OLD Mike!!!! Kelley Hey Pal, you're no Spring Chicken yourself. Beware! The next time I see you I will smite you with my walker. ;D
  21. so you disconnect it when fishing? LOL I try not to disconnect it, but I keep running out of extension cord. ;D
  22. X3. My on-board charger stays connected 24/7/365 - unless I'm fishing. As Tommybass said "It's what they are designed to do."
  23. Simp, It's a double edged sword. First you learn to associate the screen names with the real names, then you call them by their real names for the balance of the trip, then you get back home and forget what their screen names were. Been there, done that. :-[
  24. Owning your first boat is a very special feeling. The opportunities to make improvements are almost endless, and are a hell-of-a-lot of fun.
