  1. Here we go again. :
  2. Outdoor carpet adhesive for outdoor carpet? What a unique idea! Gosh, I was planning on using Elmer's wood glue. : BTW, I really like the idea of the rolling pin.
  3. Jack will attest to the fact that I know absolutely nothing about outboard motors. However, common sense tells me that any cooling water that runs through an internal combustion engine would exit the engine in a VERY warm state. I have a Mercury 150 and holding my hand in the pee stream has never entered my mind, because I know that it will be HOT. I know that my overheat alarm works because I've have experienced it after fishing in salad and slop. Don't be overly paranoid about your engine and its pee stream. Go out and enjoy your boat.
  4. Paul, this trip is open to everyone, boat or not. I guarantee that there will be an open seat for you.
  5. If you enjoy the camaraderie on this site as much as I do, becoming a long-time poster sorta happens by accident.
  6. Happy Birthday guys! Tin, brother Jack and water was my friend for many years ... until he started trying to take control of my life. To my great good fortune, I kicked his a** out of my house.
  7. Kelley, ignorance is no excuse for failure to use your shelling pecker.
  8. That was a great story, but Speedbead has crossed the line with the "Old Timer" crap. Today I went to the local Cherokee Shaman (Witch Doctor) and requested that a Pox be placed upon his ugly head. I have been assured that worms will soon be crawling out of his ears and nose. If anyone needs live bait contact Speedbead. He will soon have an inexhaustible supply. ;D ;D ;D
  9. Kelly, SPELL CHECKER!!!!! SPELL CHECKER!!!!! ;D ;D ;D
  10. You don't have a selection for "Garbage."
  11. Why is this question so important that you feel the need to start a poll? Are you working on a research paper?
  12. Is it true that Cheech and Chong have both been banned?
  13. Microman, I'm absolutely sure that I might have understood what I think it was you were probably trying to say. Let's both have another drink just to clarify things.
  14. Well, the "just for grins" poll on who will be attending was a dismal failure. Very few responses, but that's OK. It's early yet.
  15. Funny you should bring this up, but I've been contemplating the same thing, so I've been doing a lot of internet research. There are a number of sites that show you how to make the measurements for installation, but I can't remember which ones. I have nine deck lids on which I was considering installing the gas springs, but at $20+ each I decided to take the risk of the lids slamming on my fingers.
  16. The answer is no. You will charge one battery only.
  17. These many weeks I have been sworn to secrecy, but now that Burley has returned, I can now tell you that he has been living in Japan, trying to understand tha magic of it's mineral baths and the geisha women who bathe the guests in very special ways. 8-)
  18. Well, there goes the neighborhood. Burley has re-joined the world. Everything from here on will be a downhill slide into deep red-neck. Welcome back BL. I'm sure that someone on this board has missed you. ;D
  19. Great to hear from you Hookem! It's also great to hear that you seem to be enjoying the college life. Keep up the good work!
  20. To me one of the great things about this year's CMAs is that I was not forced to watch any performance by Rascal Flatulence. One of the great disappointments was that I was forced to watch performances by Taylor Swift.
  21. To one Old Fart Okie from another: Welcome to the forum! I wish I was a close to Dripping Springs as you are.
  22. Blain, What part of "PM me" didn't you understand? ;D
  23. OK Guys, I know that we are still six months away, but how about a preliminary head count? PM me if you are PROBABLY or DEFINITELY going to make it. Let me know how many will be in your group and whether or not you will be bringing a boat. This little exercise is just for grins and a mutual feel-good about the trip, so I'm much more interested in head-count and boat-count than the names of the members.
