  1. Frogtog, getting Really sick Really sucks! We all know that you are in for a rough time ahead physically, emotionally and financially. There are no words that I can say that haven't been expressed in the above posts. All the best for you and yours.
  2. Worth every penny. Infidel, welcome to Oklahoma! If you ever want to get off the base and see the most beautiful part of the state send me a PM. The Tulsa area, and its lakes, are awesome. My boat and I are at your disposal.
  3. Nice looking ride, but jack it up a couple of feet and put some mud tires on it and you would have a real winner. ;D

I'm now so sure that he is so generous. I asked him to lend me twenty bucks during the last BR road trip last spring and he asked me for three Credit References. ;D
  5. How do you make it last for a couple of hours? ;D
  6. What Fishfordollars said. Here's a photo of my new seats. I replaced them all, including the fishing seats, for about $500.
  7. I always fish after 2:00 A.M. Come to think of it, I always fish after 6:00 A.M.
  8. Ken, the park is located just to the the southeast of Pickwick Dam. Lat. - 35.0553 N Long. - 88.2387 W If you have Virtual Earth (a free download) you can see hi-res aerial images of the park.
  9. No, you do not need it - if you don't don't mind burning up your trolling motor, it's wiring, and perhaps your boat if anything goes wrong.
  10. The salt is not cutting you. If you are a weight lifter then you probably use some type of powder to dry your hands. If your hands are too dry then the skin will split in minute fissures. That's where the salt enters and causes the pain. I suggest that you rub your hands with a skin softener lotion every evening before going to bed. The skin softener re-hydrates your hands and prevents the splitting.
  11. 1. I'm bringing my boat. 2. As the Master of the vessel, I decide who rides shotgun. 3. The shirt will not be in my possession. For the duration of my trip, it will be sealed securely in a Mason jar on Funk and Wagnall's back porch.
  12. We drown the guys standing on the bank and call it an accident.
  13. Ken, you ain't never, ever, not going to be able to get my T-shirt, and I'm not never going to never change my mind!
  14. Unless you are fishing in salt water, it will not hurt the circuit breaker to get splashed occasionally.
  15. All of my research indicates that no bass boats are available for rental. You can rent a house boat, or a pontoon boat or a jet ski, but, with one exception, that's it. The exception is that the marina at the lodge has four Jon boats with 9.5 hp engines available for rent on a first come, first served basis. i.e. you can't reserve them in advance.
  16. Greg, have Deb buy a hard-hat also. In that environment, one spark could blow the walls out. ;D
  17. Thanks Bobby. I think because I was the person who originally set aside all the rooms, the park is occasionally sending erroneous room confirmations to me. I'll straighten that out tomorrow.
  18. That one cracked me up. You are hereby awarded one hundred 'Attaboys' for your knowledge of WW2 history. However, five 'Aw, shilts' have reduced your score due to your improper use of capitalization and punctuation.
  19. OK, here's what I have so far, based on your PM's and my email. Cabin: Triton21, CWB, Uncle Leo, Leo's friend. Cabin: Roadwarrior, Muddy, Lloydthefisher, Long Mike Cabin: R520dvx, Cart7t, Firefightn15, Deb (Poor Deb) Cabin: BrianinMD, Sharkbite, plus two yet to confim. Cabin: Ghoti, Mary Room: Steezy Rumor has it that Glenn and Keri may attend, but nothing firm yet. Just so you know, there are only ten cabins available. Five have already been reserved and the trip is still nine months away.
  20. Steezy, is your first name Bobby? The reason I am asking is that for some reason I received a letter of confirmation from Tennessee State Parks for a guy named Bobby living in Frisco, TX. Your profile says that you live in Frisco.
  21. I hate haters.
  22. Happy belated ... something. I forgot.
  23. Oklahoma, Missouri, Kentucky, Alabama, Louisiana, Arkansas, Florida and Texas. Not bad for being a bass fisherman of only three years.
