Leg cramps while sleeping
I've also suffered with leg cramps for years. I do the potassium and water thing, but I've also learned not to tuck in the sheets at the foot of the bed. Another recent discovery is to keep my legs warm at night. This time of year I normally have only a sheet covering my torso, but my legs have a thick blanket covering them. It seems to help.

Boy I did a dumb thing...
BL, I hate to admit it, but I did almost exactly the same thing several years ago. The post office came through for me also.

Bad on the lake habits
probably is a word used by the ignorant and the lazy. One is either too ignorant to know how the word 'probably' is properly spelled, or is too lazy to spell it properly.

Awesome boat wrap
Joe, I'm just a poor, semi-retired working man. No wraps for me. :'(

Re: Speedometer question
Oddly enough, the pitot tube speedometer on my old 1989 Tracker agreed very closely with my GPS speed. That said, it's very easy to foul a pitot tube. I no longer bother looking at the speedometer on my console. I use the GPS information provided by my Lowrance units.

Awesome boat wrap
Jack (Fishfordollars) asked that I post these awesome photos on his behalf. These are photos of a 1988 Skeeter Starfire with a fantastic new wrap. Take note of the American flag on the bow and the lightning streaks down the sides. Please post comments to Fishfordollars. I'm just the messenger.

Please have a look at this fuel filter and give some advice. Merc 25.
Try adding an ounce of Star-Tron to every tankful of gas. Your gunk problem will go away forever.

trolling motor help ,,please please
triwbass, trying to read your post made my head hurt. Please try to use commas, periods and capital letters at the beginning of sentences. It makes it much easier for others to read, and might get you some decent responses. Most potential responders will simply ignore your post if you're too lazy to use proper punctuation.

Greg, I know it's gonna tear you up to have to drive so far away from Utopia. You are forgiven if you decide not to make it. Just send Deb and her fabulous deserts. ;D

You're Invited to the 5th Annual BassResource.com Roadtrip!!!
From what I was able to learn from my research, Mississippi, Alabama, and Tennessee have reciprocal agreements for Pickwick lake. A license from any of the three states (including a temporary license) is accepted by the other two.

How do you guys fish a road bed?
Always be sure the road bed is under water. I tried fishing across I30 once and the trucks kept smashing my lures.

Home Depot trips should always be done...
I suppose very few people have ever heard of the DIY monkey. Trust me. He is just as evil, if not more so, than the bait monkey. The DIY monkey is so insidious that he actually lures you away from fishing - unless your wife is out of town. Beware!

transducer question...help please!
Transducer cable is nothing more than co-ax cable. The same stuff that attaches to the back of your TV set. It consists of a central wire and a braided metal shield that surrounds it. If you sever this cable you must have the skills to re-solder the central wire and then restore the braided shield around it. I would suggest that you buy a new transducer and cable.

For experienced bass anglers. "Back to the Future"
The choice for me wouldn't be equipment. The choice would be the lake.

Happy Birthday Long Mike!
Thanks for the kind thoughts everyone. It's great turning fifty! At least is was thirteen years ago. I want to assure everyone that the burning candles on my cake contributed very little to global warming. To celebrate my special day I (through Fishfordollars) bought a 2004 Tracker Tournament V-18 with a 150hp Mercury bolted to the stern (For you idjits out there, the stern is located somewhere near the back of the boat.) Now I can run with the big dogs, on big water. Burley, eat your heart out. Jack, thank you so much for all that you did for me today. Just so everyone knows, Jack spent an hour and a half driving up to take a look at the boat, then spent another hour and half going over it with a fine toothed comb (including compression checks), then made a down-payment on my behalf, then had to drive back home. Friends don't come any better than that. BTW, Bassin, if I had tried to put out the fire with my oxygen tank I would have blown the house up. I simply beat out the flames with my walker. ;D

Big Threat
North Korea is nothing more than a pizz-ant little nation with a little pizz-ant leader suffering from megalomania. He likes to rattle his non-existent saber in hopes that the international community will pay extortionate sums to keep his finger off of a non-existent trigger. He's just a pizz-ant and one of these days one or more of the real powers in this world is going to get tired of his crap and stomp all over him. I hope it will be China, but any of our allies could do it single-handed.
