iPad operating issue
I work with Special Needs kids at a Middle School and the school system gives us iPad mini's to use for emailing and stuff for the kids. I've had mine now for 4 years and in that time we have not once had our OS upgraded. I'm still on 9:3 while iPads that our kids get are running on 10:4 and higher. ticks me off that here we are expected to use these things FOR THE KIDS and in many cases can't because it's too slow or won't accept newer app's?

Do you find that this sport is made difficult and expensive for no reason?
Back in my golfing days I had multiple sets of irons and many, many drivers and wedges. If I was playing a course that had more holes that bent to the right I used a driver setup to hit a fade. If the course had more holes bending to the left I used a driver that would hit a draw. Windy course, irons with less loft, not so windy, more loft. Had dozens of wedges with different bounce angles and lofts for different types of bunkers and carries. I was able to have all these different options because I worked in the industry atook advantage of all the discounts afforded to me and it was my job.The point of my bloviating is this, if I had the financial means and the acces to different bodies of water and the different scenarios a lot of you guys have I also would want the tools to get the job done. I would LOVE to be able to afford a boat and multiple rods, reels, and baits but as of now, no-can-do. So I will stick to my 4 rods and reels and my back pack of baits and will make due with what I have. Gotta admit though, I do buy a lot of soft plastics I will probably never use. I look at it this way, I don't smoke, I don't drink, I don't cheat on my wife and I don't gamble. If buying useless fishing gear is the worst habit I've got I think I'm ok ?

- Shakyhead or Texas rig worm?
I've got a question I did not see answered in the articles section. I'm fishing from the bank on ponds and lakes where there is a lot of vegetation and was wondering would it be better to use a Texas rig or put the worm on a shaky head? Second question, is there a reason why I should not use a large worm like the Zoom Ol' Monster? Thanks- Maryland's Who's who!
Hey there. Can anyone give me an idea of what color worm I should be throwing? I fish mostly Centennial, Elkhorn, Cash Lake.- Do you find that this sport is made difficult and expensive for no reason?
I'm laughing at this thread. I just got back from my local BassPro where I bought a certain soft plastic "that I just had to have." Since February I've been out fishing exactly 3 times for a total of 5 hours.(1- 2lber) At one point I had 3 KastKing Baitcasters and 3 Pflueger Spinning Reels. All functional for what I needed and skill level, but I got it into my head I just had to have better stuff. So I sold off all of that and within 2 months bought 2 Daiwa Baitcasters and 2 Daiwa Spinning Reels. When each package arrived my wife would look at me and say"why in the world did you buy ANOTHER fishing doohickey? YOU NEVER GO FISHING!" I also had at one point 6 rods but am now down to 4. I find this all kind of funny seeing how infrequently I actually do go out and fish.Boy would I really be in a spot if I could afford a boat! AND DONT GET ME STARTED REGARDING THE AMOUNT OF SOFT PLASTICS I OWN!!- good cheap bait casting reals
Got a Tatula CT and a Fuego CT off EBay with a discount code and both were under 80 bucks.LOVE BOTH OF THEM!- Senko or Yum Dinger?
Which do you prefer and why?- Biffle Head/ Jointed jig

TRAFFIC/FEASIBILITY STUDY!- Some good deals
That's why I posted. Not sure what to think.- Some good deals
As anyone seen the deals on esybest.com? Mod's am I allowed to post this? If not I apologize!- What's more versatile 2000 or 2500
Hey there, for bass fishing, what size Spinning Reel would you tend to think is more versatile, a 200, 2000 , size or 250, 2500 size? I'm using braid so I'm not sure how critical diameter is. I've got a 2500 and am going to buy another reel and wondering if I should get the same size or go a little smaller?- Bass Pro Shop Experience
Brew, Just to clarify a misstatement on your part ,I in no way shape or form "bragged" about the transaction. And there was never any intention of me scamming BPS. Again you made an assumption based on incomplete info. There was ALOT more to the conversation and subsequent transaction. The great news is I donot have to answer to you nor justify myself to you. Have a great day- Bass Pro Shop Experience
Wow! Called me a dishonest person and you don't even know me! Did not know there were people on this forum who had the gift to see who people are without KNOWING ANYTHING ABOUT THEM! OR THIS COMPLETE STORY!!- Bass Pro Shop Experience
I shop at my local BassPro every month. Store is only 10 min from my house. Now with that said most of my shopping is for cloths. They have a pretty good selection of XL TALL and XXL TALL shirts. I'm 6'5 260 and they always have something I like and fits. The sales people were pretty nice and helpful. Lately though that has not been the casejust before this last trip an associate treated me like I was imposing on his time so I walked out without buying anything. Now with that said I bought a Daiwa BG 3000 on EBay that turned out to be too big and heavy for my liking so I went to BassPro to see if I could exchange it for a 2500. Keep in mind I did not have a receipt, not only did they exchange it but I got 10.00 back because it was a smaller size. Used that store credit and bought a shirt..- NHL Playoffs 2018
CONGRATULATIONS WASHINGTON CAPITALS ON WINNING THE STANLEY CUP!!!- 30lb braid on spinning?
Thanks guys!!- 30lb braid on spinning?
Is there any reason why I should not put 30 Lb braid on a size 3000 BG Spinning Reel?- Bait caster for bank fishing?
Exactly what I'm doing now.- Forgive me for doubting.
So.....now that I'm a member of the Daiwa fraternity is there some sort of initiation, hazing, secret hand shake??- Forgive me for doubting.
BG is smooth as silk, yes it does have anti reverse switch. It's a little heavier than I've had before but to me that's not an issue.- Forgive me for doubting.
Ok, need to ask forgiveness for doubting and for mocking. I've been on BR since 2015 and have seen threads about Daiwa Reel this, Daiwa Reel that, buy this Daiwa reel buy that Daiwa reel spend a little more money than your budget and get xyz Daiwa reel. Yada, yada, yada! Well I sold off all of my lower priced KK reels along with my Pflueger President spinning reels and purchased a Tatula CT, Fuego CT, and a BG 3000 Spinning Reel. OMG!! I can't believe how sweet these reels are! All of them are rock solid and smooth as silk!! As I write this I am bowing to the greatness of BR. I SHALL NEVER DOUBT AGAIN!!- shimano nasci vs daiwa BG----stradic
I just received my BG today and boy is this thing SWEET!Solid and smooth as silk. Very glad I made this purchase!! - Shakyhead or Texas rig worm?
