LOOKING FOR PFLUEGER AND ALLSTAR DECALS
Woooah. For a minute there, I thought you had went out and spent some money on some equipment and wanted some decals for the Mookmobile. I figured you'd be hunting down Zebco and Rhino Rod decals. ;D The only thing more shocking would be if Motorguide or Minn Kota signed you to an endorsement deal. Sorry, no real help here, but good luck with the hunt. I know Russ's decals are going to good use. -Fisher

PETA's new Billboard
X3 Thanks, Matt. I never thought of that. Not that I frequent their website, but I've often been curious as to what the opposition is up to (I think the purpose of this post). Good point!!

Academy H2O Xpress baitcast reel
Has anyone fished with one of these? I looked at one today at Academy. It felt really smooth. With 10 ball bearings and a drilled aluminum spool, it seems like a great buy for $49.86. I want to say the salesman said it was made by Pinnacle. Here's a link to their weekly ad (this is the everyday price, btw): http://www.academysports.com/?page=catalog&target=weeklyad&pgNum=6

Going Green
Who? Not me, I can't afford one. I just try and drive the gas one less (even though it is an SUV).

Going Green
Perhaps. You'd think, though, as much as those big named sports commentators make that they could have at least acted like they cared a little more than they did instead of making jokes about the candles and dim studio.

Going Green
Did they run the piece about the Eagles organization and their efforts to go green (interview with Jeff Laurey's wife) during the half-time or did I see that on "Today" yesterday morning? I really enjoyed that story. Yes, the football audience needs to hear the message of "going green", but NBC did make a mockery of this whole campaign. It's almost like they were forced to do it. Preach, I, to, am in the process of converting to all flourescent bulbs in my home (as old bulbs burn out). The first models of them just never seemed to light the house as good as the incandescent bulbs. I did, however find some "floodlight" type bulbs the other day that work pretty well in our ceiling fans (4 bulbs @14 watts a piece= 56 watts; the old bulbs were 60 watts X 4 = 240 watts). I hope to see a decrease in power consumption over the next year. You just have to get used to waiting 30 seconds or so for the bulbs to warm up. Then the light is great!!

BIGFOOT, Do you believe?
Thanks for the website, Glenn. I, too, don't completely dismiss the whole idea of bigfoots, ghosts, or extra-terrestrial beings. I think the key to learning is to keep an open mind. Otherwise we would never learn anything. On a lighter note, I think these are pictures of a Circus Bigfoot. It looks like he's trying to turn a somersault. ;D

Check this out! Veterans Day
Hey Bucket, That's really powerful. Hey, I was wondering if I could use it in our student Bible study on Tuesday? Our 7th graders are in the process of writing to soldiers and I think this might help them take it a bit more seriously. The only thing is that our school firewall blocks access to Youtube. I'm going to PM you my e-mail address and maybe you can e-mail me the file? Let me know if you can. -Fisher

Crazy night at work.
Hey kw, I did some time at K-mart as well. . . about 20 years ago. I worked three years in the Sporting Goods and Automotive departments (and really enjoyed that job). We pretty well got to hang back in our part of the store and do our own thing, although we did get to assist in a few shoplifting apprehensions. We used to just tackle them and hold them down until the cops got there. People are alot more violent now and would probably sue you for bodily injury if you held them down. I remember one time we lost about 20 VCR's. A man and a women came in one night real close to closing time. We only had one cashier and a service desk operator (right next to one another) working up front. The man's wife distracted the two while he carried the VCR's out in a shopping cart (this was before we had those security tag alarms). The guy made two trips. The two were later arrested as they tried selling the VCR's at a pawn shop. Glad to hear you are OK, though!! -Fisher

Green Bay and Farve
I'm sure enjoying it. I think if the Pack can go a round or two in the playoffs this will be Brett's last. No doubt he's probably one of the most competitive and mentally tough players to have ever played the game. How about that long bomb he threw today off his back foot? Wow!!

Need Some Prayer Guys
I will pray for healing but most of all that God's will be done. Peace to you and yours. TF, I lost my mother to cancer exactly 20 years ago this past August. She battled it courageously for 10 years before passing. There is not a day that goes by that I don't think of her and she still teaches me things, even though she is gone. Regardless of what happens to your Grandpa, his legacy and all that he has instilled in you will stay with you all of your life. No one can ever take that away. God bless, Fisher <><

Muddy, I checked my PM. You, sir, are a nut in the truest sense! And yes, I left myself wide open for that one. :

Found this on line What next?????????
I've never tried Boudreax's, but I'll swear by a diaper rash treatment called Dr. Smith's (also found in a plasic jar). It was recommended for our daughter when she was a baby. Once after a trip to Six Flags, I used it on some chafing around my unmentionables, and it cleared it up overnight. I keep a jar of this nearby whenever we go to amusement parks, waterparks, or hiking. It works GREAT!!

Halloween- what will you be?
My daughter wants to go as Hannah Montana. She wants me to be her dad, Billy Ray Cyrus. I hope the new, not the old. I don't want a mullett. More than likely, I'm going as myself.

Sox in 6
I think the Rockies will steal one at home. Possibly the next one with Dice-K. He's the most inconsistent pitcher the Sox have right now. Sox in 5.

Home heating problem- Help!
None taken, Matt. Long copper thingy with a wrenchy attachy thingamajig on either end. ;D Seriously, I'm pretty mechanically inclined. I've just never done much to my home heater (except clean out the condenser coils on the A/C side). Agreed. Very easy to replace. As soon as I can buy some time (hopefully Saturday) I'll replace it. Five minute job. Thanks guys for all your help.

A Great Time to be a Fan...
I've always been envious of that Fenway atmosphere. I wish we could have that here in Texas. You go to a Ranger game, most of the fans are blah! I'd like to attend a Red Sox game someday just to experience it.

I've been home all day today.
Raw garlic? ;D I'm surprised people can stand being around you after that! I'll stick to my OTC stuff. Robert, I'm sure this will pass. Think of us when you reeling in a really big one!!
