Florida's really taking a beating with all the rain. Let's keep em all in our thoughts and prayers and send some good mojo they're way.

Last couple times I've been out have been after some cold rains so not really sure if they've moved or were just not very active. If the temps stay the same it would suprise me if they start to move soon if they haven't already.

I'm thinking we could probably squeeze in 3 or 4 if we absolutely had to.

After catching bass all summer in the pads the last 2 times I've been out I haven't even had so much as a strike fishing topwater pads. Kinda dissappointing. I was really having fun with that pattern this year.

Doesn't matter where it's at to me as long as it's not way out on the cape. lol That'd be a bit of a drive for me. Other than that I'll fish anywhere. I'm not picky.

Geez I had to look at this post 257 before you guys changed the title. LMAO. I guess I can come out of my happy slumber up here in the Western woods and show you guys how to fish. ;D What date are you guys thinking about? I'm definately down for this. Like the other guys I might be in need of a back seat though.

Maybe start by just asking them what they're fishing for and work you way into offering advice if you think they want it after you've talked for a minute. If I saw somebody buying an UL and steel leaders I'd be interested to know what they were fishing for. LOL

Yes! That hard bait is awesome. That thought of a yellow perch hardbait that looks that good is making me drool. I'm very interested in the price of the rods too. That's just the prototype and it looks sweet. Can't wait to see the finished product.

Try to stay positive man. From my experience getting down to far and feeling negative just makes things work. Sometimes just a positive attitude will make some things turn around. Treat yourself to a nice afternoon fishing. You deserve it.

If there good enough for the best bass fisherman in the world that can't be all that bad. I'm not saying I'm going out to buy one, I'm an Abu fan, and I agree the $280 price tag seems pretty steep but they do have a pretty good collection of pros fishing they're "crappy" reels. Just something to think about.

That's awesome. It's great to have a wife that'll fish with ya. My wife likes to go fish too and we have had some great time together. Have fun!
