0-1' Mann's baby 1- is the best hands down but that Bagelys bream like logger posted works well for lake LM. For 3-5' Bandit 100 has been my go to bait for 3 years but this year my #1 crank is that LC RC 1.5. So far this year about 75% of my fish have been caught on the LC bait. Allen

My habit has turned to hardbaits from Japan that I usually cannot pronounce the color or read anything on the box? :-[ Since I have been fishing lately is has not been that bad and I have only spent about $75 in the past 2 months. Allen

The clearer the water the better Ghost Minnow works! Ghost minnow and ghost sunfish are the only two colors I use in really clear water. Pearl ayu and Chart. shad are good colors as well as baitfish silver (JDM). Allen

BPS has them? These work well but be carefull as a 18" SM will swallow the whole bait. Allen

Daiichi death trap hooks are what I use. Allen

They average skirt on a factory jig or spinnerbait is between 40-50 strands. If you are using the standard silicone skirt tabs form Jann's etc. they are about 22 strands per tab. On clear water baits I use 2 tabs, stained 2 and a 1/2, 3 for muddy water and the most I have ever used was 4 tabs but they had trouble fitting into the skirt collar. Allen

White spinnerbait with twin white willows when it is cloudy like others have said. I seem to have the best luck on twin nickel willows on a white bait most of the time though. Allen

That's the idea! Irregular action bring bites! Also try tuning your lures! When they run completely on their side when jerked it is not right? And yes Beavis I do tune my lures but all 3 do the exact same thing. What are the odds I bought 3 bad baits? Allen

I think that it is a gimmick bait and the wire is way too thick. This is the only spinnerbait I have never caught fish on? Even the Wal-Mart $1 spinnerbaits catch fish. Allen

While just about any rod will work for spinnerbaits I prefer a moderate fast action MH rod. I use a Falcon Lowrider spinnerbait rod and it works well for both spinnerbaits and large jerkbaits. Allen
