  1. Don't worry? They will no longer paint anymore crooked lines in Mexico. They are now too busy building homes in the U.S.! Allen
  2. I have one that is 100% guarenteed!!! Drive on Prospect street between Hub City Cycles and the mission and if you see a girl you like just say "I have $40 get in". Allen
  3. Old microwave and a GLASS (very important) pyrex cup is the easiest for me. Try Lurecraft.com they have some good stuff on their site for supplies. Allen
  4. Took the words right out of my mouth! Allen
  5. A white w/silver blade roostertail will catch anything that swims around here. Allen
  6. #1 color is crayfish in the river. Top 5 baits: Bandit 100, Mann's baby 1-, Luhr Jensen Klawdad, 1/4oz plastic big O, and LC RC 1.5 (#1 crankbait this year so far). Allen
  7. Thanks! Now no-one will want to trade them to me? Seriously I have been catching more fish in the UP than any other jerkbait in the fall. The only problem is I end up breaking the bills by hitting rocks or the TM head. Allen
  8. I picked pointer on the list but it depends on the day? LC and TD minnows have caught tons of fish for me but so has a $3 Rogue and a $5 Husky jerk. Someone mentioned the SK wild shiner? Well I have a silver one (gizzard shad is the name I think) that I got out of a Dick's bargin bin for $0.89 that has caught so many fish it is missing most of its paint! Now I have several $28 Megabass Visions that I cannot buy a bite on? Allen My top baits in no particular order: 1. LC pointer 78sp 2. LC Slender pointer 97mr 3. TD Minnow 1091 4. Smithwick Rogue 5. Husky jerk HJ-10 6. Evergreen M-1 minnow 7. Xcalibur XS4 8. SK Wild shiner Baits that I cannot get to work: 1. O.S.P. Asura = cannot get to run right and hooks are too small 2. X-Rap = apparently I am the only person who cannot get these to work? My nose or tail down and no matter what I try they never suspend right. 3. Megabass Vision 95= I have caught fish on gummie worms, bare hooks, open snap swivels but not this lure? enough said. 4. Matsuo?= Look good in the package but run like s**t. Don't waste your time or effort for $3-5 buy a Rogue that will actually catch fish. Jury is still out: 1. Vision 110= While I have caught some fish with this one the outbarb hooks destroy the paint and I still cannot get the bait to suspend level. 2. LC staysees= My ADD must kick in when while fishing these because I think I move them too much and never catch anything.
  9. White= Anytime Smoke, clear, translucent, whatever you want to call it= In clear water when they are feeding on baitfish. Actually smoke and watermelon are the only 2 colored senkos I use in clear water. Allen
  10. Start by using the guidelines T-Rig posted but like others have said don't be afraid to go against the rules. I have caught fish on a LC RC 1.5 in water temps from 43-85 degrees in both clear and muddy water. Allen
  11. Besides the senko I think this is the greatest soft plastic ever! I have literally caught thousands of bass on this bait. Most of the time I fish for SM in rivers so a green pumkin baby brush hog matches the forage so well. T-rigged on a slider or Jobee jighead pitched or drug across the bottom is the way I fish these? They are kind of like a senko in that there is not a real wrong way to fish them. Allen
  12. I think it is called a beetlespin? In clear water try using a fluke. Allen
  13. Black! Allen
  14. Zoom lizards in solid white or black are the only things I can get to work? Besides that I use a 1/2-3/4oz sinker with a 3' leader and it usually works well? In clear or cold water zoom finesse worms or a case jacks worm has worked in the past. Like others have said I do not like this rig but it is the only way I can catch fish in deep water consistantly. Allen
  15. If I could only fish one color of soft plastic it would have to be green pumkin. It has produced fish for me from solid mud less than 6"visibility to water so clear that in 30' you could tell what side landed on a coin. Allen

What is wrong with the colors? LC pearl ayu (similar to your top bait) is one of my top 3 jerkbait colors. I just purchased a Badger airbrush and some water based paint (Whittler recommendation)so hopefully I can start to paint as well as you and some others on here? Allen
  17. I just use the rubber collars because most jigs do not last long enough (a lot of rocks around here). A couple of questions for you since we make similar jigs? Do you trim down the lenght of your weedguards? Have you tried the new VMC flat eye hooks that are similar to the mustad 32798N (I think this is the #)? Allen

One of the companies mentioned use to sell them but stopped because of the patent. I have some chart/white, 3/8oz guppyheads that are Ti but not the same wire as terminator uses? The ones I have the wire seems more flimsy and does not snap back but it sure is flexable. I picked up about 12 of these off ebay for $3 each but I like the super stainless for pouring my own heads. Allen
  19. Baby brush hog, super hog or kreature bait all work really well and my favorite color is green pumkin. Allen
  20. They all work for me. Allen
  21. What color are you looking for? I have some extras and I may have what you need. Allen

    Bandit 100 LC RC 1.5 Mann's baby 1- Allen
  23. Mustad maks several 28 degree hooks but they are not flat eye. A do-it mold can be modified to accept the regular eye hooks with a dremel. Use the bit that looks like a bullet and slowly press down at the mold eyelet until it is concave. I did this with my mold and it works just fine. Allen
  24. Silicone for the colors for most bait except flippin jigs. For flippin jigs I use MicroMunch tackle skirts because they have the bulkiest profile. I forget what they are made of but Earthworm77 or one of his prostaff will probably post on them? Hands down they are the best flippin jig skirt out there! I caught my PB on one this spring a 24" LM. Allen
