  1. Sent the Latvian one back she was too much of a pain. Looking at a getting one from Brazil next. Allen
  2. Here is what they look like after being casted. Now comes the fun part of sanding to Frankenstein them. Allen
  3. All the time for riversmallies! That's why I make my own spinnerbaits. A hidden weight 1/2oz on a smaller frame so it doesn't roll in current. Allen
  4. September depends on the temperature which varies year to year. It goes from topwater to spinnerbaits then jerkbaits for me. Allen
  5. Aren't they discontinued? Allen
  6. You want to trade the all brown ones? Allen
  7. Watch the YouTube video on Southern Plastics and you will see how they make the baits. Any dual colored baits will have color variations. Allen
  8. Popper and buzzbait will be the easiest. Allen
  9. Zoom swamp crawlers and meat heads or a shad shape worm. Allen
  10. Going to try and turn this into a spinnerbait head. Allen
  11. Google Shorty's hooks tomorrow call and ask them. They may have them or at least can let you know if such a thing exists. Allen
  12. Jeff Little made them as well they are called a draggin head. Made a mold of them like 2 years ago after everyone kept asking me to. Allen
  13. Thinking of using the same hooks that I use for my flukes in current. Allen
  14. You have to go to the River Rock bassmasters show in Boonsboro, Md the weekend before MLK day. The other one is Gambler Fire hall north of Sykesville, Md (I will post the date once I get it). I need someone to buy some stuff so I don't. Best deal this year was 14 full packs of 5" GP Yamamoto senkos for $20. Allen
  15. How do you keep them from rolling? Every time I try this they roll over on me. Allen
  16. You guys are going to throw stones at me but Roboworms just don't work for me and I have given them plenty of chances. The only one that worked was watermelon with a chartreuse tail. For DS I use either a Zoom swamp crawler or Yamamoto shad shape worm. Allen
  17. Fished them since they can out in 2004 and have not found any I like better. My best 5 fish limit ever was on a horny toad. Trap Pond Delaware 5 best were 34lbs. Smallest fish I caught that evening was 3.5lbs. Sometimes I use them as a jig trailer for big bites. Allen
  18. I had a similar one as a child and I think it was called a pollywog? Or something like that? Its been 40 years so my memory is fuzzy. Allen
  19. Are you on Facebook? There are a couple guys that sell tabs. I may have that color? Not one I would normally use so I don't know for sure? Allen
  20. UCLA = Upper Corner of Lower Alabama. Allen
  21. Someone from UCLA is going to disagree. Allen
  22. So where you are from are they crayfish or crawfish? Where I live here in Merryland they are crayfish. In the deep south I know they are crawfish. Technically I am a southerner because I live about 3 miles south of the Mason Dixon line. Just trying to figure out where the name changes? Guessing it is in North Carolina south. Not sure about the midwest as I heard both names regularly used in Missouri. So please say your state and which name you use. Allen
  23. These hooks are the best thing I have learned about drop shotting in years. I got a pack of them in a large lot of hooks I bought off Facebook. Desided to give them a try and now generally they are all I use. Allen
  24. I would rather have the wrong lure/color in the right location than the right lure in the wrong location. Allen
  25. Hopefully this winter I can experiment with some wood baits. I got an A in wood shop about 30 years ago so I have expert level experience in wood craft. Allen
