The truth about black...
Bass fishing is all about confidence and concentration. The two go hand in hand. If coloring the line gives you more confidence and better concentration than its worth doing. I first saw people coloring line down on Okeechobee for flipping mats, doubt it had any affect on the bass as your really getting a reaction strike.

Snap vs Loop knot
I've never had problems with loop knots breaking even on frog gear where you're really horsing the fish out of cover.

Personal favorite flipping line
for wood i almost always use floro. sniper 17#. i occasionally like mono, if im skipping. just easier to manage. I do have a flipping rod with braid for grass. but when i get to wood i pick up the floro as it comes thru the wood better. might be just my imagination but i don't like the feel of braid on wood. spool it about 60% mono, then 30% floro on top, leaving room(filing the spool about 90% full). don't overspool your floro or you'll just be wasting line.

Fishing Line expire?
Sounds like top of the line stuff.

Fishing Line expire?
Saw a tip on an old hank Parker show to use a cooler to store line. I still store all my line in an old stirofoam cooler. Works great.
- Type of bass??

Fishing Line expire?
Depends on how it was kept. Best if kept out of sun or excessive heat.

Need help "walking the dog" with top water frog
tie a loop knot instead of using a swivle or snap. loop knot helps alot with walking a frog. also works for helping get a walking motion with popr's. i pretty much use a loop knot with all topwaters except buzz baits.

Fall water temp for active bass?
My experience has been that the fishing gets tough with the first cold front then warm up. Right now its real tough down here. Only taking 9lbs to win latest weekly ark river tournaments. Takes at least two good strong cold fronts to get the shad moving.

New waders
what ever you do. get breathable waders. once you do, you'll never get neoprene again. your actually dry when you take them off. Boots- got a pair of korkers this summer and they are the best wading boots i've ever used by far.

Braid for Panfish?
i use straight braid some when bream fishing the lilly pads in the spring. got tired of losing the biggest red ears when they wrap around pad stems.

Smallie flies...
Nice work. Perfect clown color on the bottom one.

I got more stuff!
Learn to use that fly rod and you will enjoy it all your life. I'd call that a bargain.

Who mainly uses the same lures every time they fish? - I'm down to the same 4 lures
my brother swears he can catch any bass swimming with a zoom fluke, and usually catches just as many if not more than i do, using a large assortment of baits. he'll fish it anywhere from split shoting it on the bottom to screaming it on top. about the only time i can get him to switch is when their fired up on a crank bait bite and he just can't keep up with the fluke. those days are precious to me.

Flipping pitching punching
Funny down here my favorite time to flip/pitch is prespawn when they're in the backwater holding tight to wood. Fall is probably when I use it the least. Not because it won't work, but i just can't pry the spinnerbait outa my hands.

Swimjig head
That's bigger than it looks in the picture. Should look good all dressed up.

Swimjig head
Looks ok. This is gonna sound too critical, but I'm picky when it comes to swim jigs. 1. I like a bit bigger hook. I don't want any chance of it bending in thick cover. That hook might work for a grass jig but looks a bit thin to me. 2. Angle looks good 3. I like a better wire trailer keeper. Deminsions look good.

Your tips and tricks
Always pull up the trolling motor before you take off to the next spot.

Lures snapping off while casting w/ braid
Braid does dig in after you catch a fish or pull hard to free from a snag. Be sure to strip off some line and reel it back on without the resistance before casting again. I bet your hitting a spot where the braid has dug in causing an abrupt stop and line break.

Most complimentary/versatile baits for two rods?
Just two is tough, but I can't imagine fishing this time of year without one of them being a texas rigged worm.
