Wow. That was really bad. [edit]Removed political comment[/edit]- First baitcaster?????
I would get a Daiwa. Here is a smokin deal on a reel in your price range. No connection to seller. http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-Team-Daiwa-Advantage-153-HSTA-Baitcasting-reel_W0QQitemZ250574658783QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item3a5769dcdf- Short Sale Property/Landlord
The reason its so painful is th trail that needs to be followed in order to get it closed. With many banks, they dont own the note, an investor does. So it isnt the bank that is making the call, it has to be relayed to whoever owns that particular note.- American Chopper is no more
I can totally see that. I was in Las Vegas a few years back and went to the Bass Pro Shop located in that casino that Morris owns. The bass chopper was front and center in the lobby. I thought that thing was hilarious. ;D They wont be needing to work another day in their lives after the money they made. Here's to hoping they had the sense to hire a money manager.- Favorite Movie of All Time?
Picking one is difficult. It would have to be Bogarts' Casablanca.- Short Sale Property/Landlord
I can help you on both fronts. First off the short sale. Do you know if the bank has already approved the short sale for the seller? If not then the process could take several months to close. The bank also has to approve your offer. If there is a 2nd mortgage on the property, that could be another hurdle. Ive seen some banks holding 2nds come back at the end and ask for extra money to make the deal work. if the seller or buyer is not willng to kick in extra money it could be a deal breaker. Be patient, make sure you ask these questions and you should be able to determine whether or not the deal is even doable. Again I've seen short sale transactions go for several months only to be killed at the end. REO deals are much easier, as they are already bank owned and the bank wants them off the books. Being a landlord is a little like fishing. You dont always catch a good one. ;D I've had great tenants and I've had tenants from hell. They all put their best foot forward when you're interviewing them, but as soon as they move in some of them turn into a nightmare. You can take some precautions that will help minimize that. Have them fill out an application. Check references. Why are they leaving their current place? How many people will be living in the home? Also make sure you get permission to order a credit report. You can tell alot about a person by how they pay their bills. If you have any other specific questions feel free to pm me.- American Chopper is no more
Sueing his son. Wow.- This is not your father's Timex. :)
The technology behind Urwerk is pretty amazing. Here is a break down of the 202.- Love soda pop? Not as much as this guy. Promse. :)
So I ordered a few sodas and received them the other day. They've been in my fridge the last few days and I just tried one. I have to say I'm impressed with Empire Bottling Works Real Cola. Not too sugary, great flavor. Very cool history on the company, less than 5 employees and it's been in operation since 1930. If you like coke, you'll love this cola. http://www.manta.com/c/mmb5pzz/empire-bottling-works- This is not your father's Timex. :)
There are some really interesting designs out there guys. Here's another company that is out there - URWerk. Their watches are pretty amazing. Priced about the same as MB&F - $75-200k. http://www.urwerk.com/default.asp- The_Natural Pic or description
Wow...I would hate to think that he's trying the same thing somewhere else.- This is not your father's Timex. :)
Your dad had some nice pieces.- Prayers for Lightninrod
Wow. I was just thinking about him as well. Please tell him I said hello, and hope to see him posting here again soon!- This is not your father's Timex. :)
Hey, different strokes for different folks. The watches are interesting, to say the least. It's all relative too guys. Some people collect fishing tackle, lures, cars, I know many people that collect watches. As far as the 'ego thing' goes, you'd be surprised. Most of my friends that are into high end time pieces, don't show them off. If you are a fellow watch guy, you just get it. It really is no different that rods and reels. They just have a few more zeros at the end.- This is not your father's Timex. :)
My good friend, Steve Hallock, is the USA President of MB&F watches. Very interesting story about how they design their horological machines. Here he explains in video what the watches are all about. These watches retail between $80k - almost $200k. I'm especially a fan of the HM2. http://www.hodinkee.com/blog/2010/2/4/stephen-hallock-president-of-mbf-usa-presents-the-entire-mbf.html- I told him to come pick it up.
Sure, why not!- Funny story.
- I told him to come pick it up.
;D smelly jacket for sale in Aromas. That was not planned. I sent him the link. He just about fell out of his chair. Im leaving the auction up, if it sells that would be too funny.- I told him to come pick it up.
Obviously I don't expect it to sell. It's a joke. But if it does... ;D- I told him to come pick it up.
He didnt listen. ;D I cant stop laughing over this. Who wants it? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=280460547032- One of the best impressionists I've ever seen.
- For all the car guys
Pure awesomeness. 8-)- If money was no object...
Not true. If money were no object, I'd have a G5 at my disposal, and follow the spawn on a worldwide fishing extraveganza. Brazil for peacocks, New Guinea for bass, florida for tarpon, Suriname for dogfish, Argentina for golden dorado, south africa for tigerfish, egypt for nile river perch, alaska for salmon, mexico for largemouth. Not necessarily in that order, but with my own jet, equipment, and liquor, I'd be a happy dude. Of course I'd brind dad along and a couple good friends.- Holy smokes I found him!
Russ is fine. Just taking a break from fishing is all. He got tired of not catching any. ;D I'll post pics. Looking forward to spending a few days with my pal. - Worst Half-Time Show Ever?
