Couldn't have said it better myself It's not that BR and Shimano are in cahoots, it's just that they were the ones who answered the invitation that has been issued to all the big manufacturers. It costs money to have someone like Bantam answering all our inquiries,...money well spent IMO as you are right there at a grass roots level with the angler, your customer. "Other" manufacturers, a few in particular have STILL yet to see the significance of the online forum communities. : It's odd to me, someone needs to shake the bed and wake them up!! so again, all are invited, but Shimano stepped up. Yes, and we have Larry Dhalberg, from "Hunt for Big Fish", to thank for it. He made the introduction at ICAST that made this happen.

What would you think about including a couple of other brands and renaming the new Forum? Zebco, Flooger and Quantum: Support Forum For Disposable Reels I don't think we need to point out that all suggestions in this new forum also apply to "house brands". Perfect! My first thread will be, "Modding the Zebco 33: carbon arm, red & black anodized casing, upgraded Carbontex drag and ABEC 5 bearings.

I'd recommend the 6.3 Zillion or even the new 4.9 Zillion for swimbaits. Without a doubt a fantastic reel, I'm not sure how many I have but I know it's several. If you want something REALLY special, check out the Japanese market only Zillion HLC. I have a few of them, they are fantastic reels.

Basschaser, what other planes have you flown? What's your favorite to fly? I was lucky enough to fly to Mexico on a private Gulfstream IV. Without a doubt, an amazing experience. That plane feels much larger and heavier than it looks.
