Christmas exchange.
Count me in. I organized it last year so we need to find someone who can do the honors this year. Make it a secret santa so you dont know who got you, until you receive your gift. I think last year we made it $30 maximum. Several people went over the maximum though.

When you're not fishing.....
Ok this is what I really do... I own a finance company. We specialize in FHA financing for homes, commercial construction financing, hotel financing, and developments in other countries. I also represent a handful of private investors looking to place their money in projects. If I don't get them a 12% return, I turn away the project. As of today, I have a zero default history. I also am working on a tequila company project that should be coming to market fairly soon. I'm really excited about it!

Well looks like my Brazil trip is being postponed.
The outfitter gave me the option. We could have gone if we wanted to, but the catch rate has been pathetic. Try less than 20 fish for the entire lodge, all week. :-[ That is just one of the reasons I like these guys so much and continue to use them. They are ethical and even though it is lost revenue for them now, they completely have earned my business year in and year out. The first year I was going to go down there the same thing happened. They gave me notice and we rescheduled, we had one of the best experiences I've had in my trips down there.

big bait rod help
Okuma is a nice rod, but heavy. I prefer Dobyns' 795 Mike Long Swimbait rod. Lighter, balanced better, and paired with a Abu Revo Inshore, You're set. If you want more line capacity Try a Calcutta.

Stripers attack!
I keep hitting play on this video over and over again. From what I was told this is a 17 lb striper taken at a local lake here in CA. The lure being used is a Lunker Punker. http://www.swimbaitcentral.com/

I respectfully disagree, Micro. Entourage is a great show, and even though it was short lived, I thought Lucky Louie was hilarious!
