Ok so I'm not a mastodon leather wallet maker. My wife and I own a real estate firm as well as an accounting practice. Also working on a venture that deals with outsourcing.

We went salmon fishing on the Klamath last year. Hired a Yurok Indian guide, and we had an absolute blast.

I don't think you'll find a better winter place than FL. If your concern is surging construction, most of CA has that issue as well.

I've lived in a big city, and will probably never do that again. We've settled down to a nice little town with history back to the 1700's. We love it here. The fishing here can be spectacular, when there's water. I hope this drought ends soon! This place is special. Funny, I come here more often now that I haven't had time to fish than before when I did have more time to fish...

Thanks pal. And yes, there are plenty of things I don't agree with about CA, but there's also plenty to like here as well. I'm a fan of Mizzou, one of my friends played there that now plays for the 49ers. I went back to his home town a few years back and have to tell you, if I could convince the wife to move there I probably would. As far as beautiful country women, I wouldn't know. I'm happily married to a GREAT woman. Why the hell she married my ugly mug is beyond me. I'm the same guy I've always been. Lately I feel there's a lot more camaraderie on this site, which is great. Oh, and Raider Nation, camaraderie means 'friendship amongst people that spend time together'.

My wife is quite the cook and baker. Bought her all the necessary mixers/tools/equipment necessary to make just about anything. We have a couple friends that are chefs including a Michelin Star holder, they've been a help in acquiring the right tools for the job. Watching her make anything, from bread to pastas to sauces is pretty amazing. We literally don't buy anything canned, which also makes it really hard to eat out. I'll post some pictures later of some of her dishes.

My wife, hands down, makes the best wheat loaf from scratch. Thick cut wheat bread. Right out of the oven. raspberry preserves smuckers natural peanut butter glass of whole milk Thanks a lot.. Now I want one.

well, work day ran late last night. Last client left at 10:30 so we had a home made dinner instead. Gotta love tax time.

TCM is our absolute favorite channel for movies, and it simply doesn't get any better than Bogart. The Maltese Fountain, To Have and Have Not, The Treasure of the Sierra Madre, I could go on and on..

The wife and I also like Iron Chef and Diners Drive Inn's and Dives. We've gone to a few places on the show and have borrowed a couple recipes....
