  1. Glad to hear you are doing better as well Mike. I feel exactly the same way. Will NEVER miss another flu shot either!
  2. Well. Someday I hope to find a barn find Superbird. A guy can dream, right?
  3. Stlbob, This is a good bunch of guys here. Regardless of what anyone says. You'll find that our jabs are good natured. Thick skin is mandatory for the new guys. Sorry for your Craigslist sellers issues. The only thing I've ever tried Craigslist for is for hiring people. That didn't go all to well either..... Some of the applicants had no idea what they were talking about.
  4. That's the biggest problem with buying a car of this nature. The seller usually has an unrealistic price for it that negates the possibility for a deal. There's currently a '67 GTX for sale on Ebay. A true barn find. Unrestored, all original, looks like it just rolled out of the factory. I love stories like this! http://www.ebay.com/itm/Plymouth-GTX-BELVEDERE-I-POST-CAR-1967-plymouth-belvedere-i-hemi-post-car-4-speed-/271380772141?forcerrptr=true&hash=item3f2f8df52d&item=271380772141&pt=US_Cars_Trucks
  5. I still think the 49er/Seattle game will be better than the Superbowl.
  6. This one is up there too.
  7. So sorry to hear of your loss. There are two schools of thought on the flu shot. Some feel it helps, others not so much. True, you are not supposed to get the flu shot if you are already sick. Feeling better today by the way. Going to probably take another week and just stay home until I kick this.
  8. Started with a fever for 4 days, then the incessant cough, low energy, and general aches and pains. Like others stated started feeling better, but it's been a roller coaster. Feel better tonight. Taking an antibiotic. Go to the doctor. Don't mess with this flu.
  9. No English translation. http://www.cognac-grateaud.com/
  10. Roadrunner's are fantastic cars as well. 1970 was the pinnacle year for American muscle in my opinion. 1970 Dodge Charger R/T was a fantastic car. You're right, I never said anything about price. Those cars are indeed pretty awesome. I can't imagine driving around in a car worth 7+ figures.
  11. Cool cars indeed. However... 427 s/c ~ $5,000,000 Daytona couple ~ $1,000,000 Ferrari 250 GTO ~ $30,000,000
  12. I don't think there is a cooler car on the planet. Would love to find an unrestored model and bring it back to life.
  13. The first time I took my wife fishing she caught a largemouth bass in a lake full of striped bass. It weighed a hair over 8 lbs. This was the first bass she ever caught in her life. I immediately got down on one knee and proposed on the spot. (Ok maybe I waited to propose just a little bit...)
  14. Went back to the doctor today for a follow up. Turns out I have a sinus infection. More antibiotics. ugh.
  15. Heartfelt congratulations. I hope to reach (and pass!) that milestone one day with my wife.
  16. Ugh. Hang in there guys. My wife and I are still not 100%. Coughing a bit. Over the worst. Fortunately we had the luxury to be able to stay home for 3 weeks to get over the worst.
  17. Just convince this man's daughter to marry you! http://www.huffingtonpost.ca/2014/01/23/cecil-chao-hong-kong-billionaire-gigi_n_4651872.html?1390492801&just_reloaded=1&icid=maing-grid7%7Chtmlws-main-bb%7Cdl4%7Csec1_lnk2%26pLid%3D433682
  18. Superbowl at the office. Tax season!
  19. Looking forward to opening the bottle. After tax season at this point. The 'most aged' bourbon in my personal collection is from Hirsch. 28 year. I was lucky enough to score two bottles about 3 years ago. Eventually I'll open one. I'll wait for 00 Mod to come visit and help me drink it.
  20. Manning throws laser guided missiles. Just saying....
  21. Agreed. Looking forward to it.
  22. For me they work great. Keep them in the freezer. I use 3 in one cocktail. Also, just scored a pretty rare bird. Michters 25 Year old Bourbon.
