fishing kayak decission
I car top and went with a fairly small kayak mainly due to storage concerns, but as far as weight just keep in mind you have to load that thing up after paddling it out on the water for several hours. It always feels heavier at the end of the day especially if you have to carry it from the water very far.

Her body, yes, but she's not an attractive woman I'm sorry. She's extremely talented at a level that few can claim in this day and age. And her voice is mesmerizing. Heck what am I talking about, I think I'm in love.

Can a spinning reel be used on a casting rod
I've seen several people over the years fishing a spinning reel like that, upside down and backwards. Pretty much exclusively paired with 12+ lb coiled up mono floating across the surface attached to a big red/white bobber.

Reel Cleaning and Lubing Service Place
Will your service loosen up a basically brand new Shimano Spirex? I bought it last year and it's incredibly stiff, just barely missed the return window or I would have just ditched it. Seems like a common occurrence with the cheaper Shimano's from what I gather.

Can a spinning reel be used on a casting rod
If you wanted to reel upside down and backward, which I've actually seen people doing.

My first truck!
Sweet looking truck. If you don't have to worry about snow and ice where you live 4x4 isn't an issue and you'll save yourself tons of money in fuel consumption. RWD trucks are terrible in slick stuff though, without weight in the back or chains.

Berkley Fireline and Nanofil
I missed the part about the uni knot. Assuming you mean a uni/uni leader knot. Personally, this last year was my first time ever using leaders and I used that knot exclusively. Not a single slip or breakage. You just really have to take it slow and make sure the wraps all line up correctly. Not much different than a clinch knot really. For all my lure/hook knots I use a polomar knot. Same deal though (and even more so I think) you have to watch how the line lies. I've finished plenty of knots only to cut them off and re-tie if I saw something I didn't like.

Berkley Fireline and Nanofil
Sounds like it is a hi-vis green color? Yeah with a leader it wouldn't matter, and same as you I use PowerPro hi-vis yellow with a leader to detect strikes on weightless plastics. I just wanted to say that I was really impressed with Fireline in general (casting distance, memory, strength) just hadn't seen that color.

Berkley Fireline and Nanofil
I think you'll be pleased with the Fireline, although I've never seen that "flame green" around here. I like the "smoke" (black) color in 14lb, for years and years we always colored the end of our Spiderwire with a black Sharpie so the black color out of the box just makes sense.

River Rock tubes
Here's what I ended up with, I ordered just enough to outfit a 3500 box. It also helped that they tossed in a sample pack of green pumpkin SM killers to go along with the alewife color I ordered. Pretty cool! The stuff looks great. Although I didn't realize how tiny the SM killers would be (was thinking Senko sizes) so I ended up ordering a couple packs of Owner Shaky Head hooks from TW to round it out. Never fished shaky head so another new technique to learn this year. The tubes are Summer Craw and K-Custom w/ Owner Phantom tube hooks. I can only fit four of each color in the box but should be more than enough for any outing.

What Lure Did You Catch Your Personal Best On?
My PB Largemouth @ 4lb13oz was caught off a dock on an ultralight with a #12 hook and a single orange Power Egg, what a battle! Still trying to catch a bigger one on standard tackle. Smallmouth @ 3lb6oz was on a weightless t-rig 4" blue/black Senko.

I wish I could forget about him, but I drafted him 2nd round in fantasy so it still stings.

Go Falcons!!! Pat's are good as always, but can they score with the Falcons? Should be a great game. Anyone know if Gronk is done or could he be in the game?

Such a Deal
Well I wasn't entirely right, but I'll call it close enough. They're like scripted robots that listen to 1/3 of what you say and offer random solutions. I have had Prime for ten years with zero issues until recently. I have had two email chains with "customer service" in the last couple months that leave me scratching my head. I'm not sure I would call, I want this stuff in writing personally.

Such a Deal
If you contact Amazon, they'll most likely apologize 6 times in broken English and offer you a free month of Prime.

What are the biggest problems you face while fishing?
Mine would have to be planning out my trip, rigging up my three setups, only to be digging in the tackle box and changing tactics after 3 casts. Gotta get better at sticking with things longer!

Brick and mortar store demise
I bought my first online rod this year, the Gander Mountain Vortex they discounted for $12.99. Otherwise I really do like to pick through them and buy in store. I found a good local place I'll support whenever possible but sometimes a deal is too good to pass up.

Tackle organization with the co-angler in mind
Ooh I'll play. I don't tourney fish, but I fish from a kayak so I'm very limited in space. I pack everything I need in a cheap $12 Cabelas bag that came with 4 3500 series boxes. I've purchased several others, and bring an appropriate 6 it fits along for each trip. I have room for three rod/reels so between those and 6 boxes I've got enough crap to mess around with. Here's what lurks inside. Left pocket holds the scale and a ziplock baggie for my wallet/keys/phone. Right pocket pliers/hook removers. A line cutter attaches to the spring thingy. The Panther Martin spinner baits are riding on top for now not sure where they'll end up. This box has chatterbaits, buzz bait, jigs, Strike King mini king's This one has 5" Senkos w/ 5/0 hooks, a Johnson's Silver Minnow spoon, some crawdads I've never used. Also my last couple white Slug-Go's which used to be the only plastic I threw. This one has 4" Senkos, and 3/0 hooks and some grubs for smallies, some other random stuff I'll let people use that don't have their own gear. Hard bait topwater selection here. Rio Rico's, a Sammy, chewed up old Devil's Horse I lifted from dad years ago, Whopper Plopper, Live Target Frog, mini Pop-R. Hollow body topwaters. Live Target field mice, sunfish, Spro frog, Spro popping frog, Flip in the bird red wing blackbird. Hard baits consist of a 1/4 oz Rat-l-trap,1/2 oz SK red eye shad, slightly larger Rapala, couple of Berkley flicker shads, Norman Scorpion, Shad Rap, original floating Rapala and Smithwick Rogue that I stole from dad years ago (I'm sensing a theme, but it's OK because he quit bass fishing and only golfs now). Inline spinners. Some of these have been great producers. I had one trip with my wife where that gold Vibrax in the middle caught all but one fish between both of us the entire day. The larger ones are new hoping to try them out soon. Trout and panfish stuff. Spoons and float-n-fly gear. Beetle spins, road runner, tube jigs. I fish two places that are selective gear, single barbless hooks and no baits or scents. So a box for that as well. I've also just ordered some new smallmouth stuff, tubes and shaky heads. So another box is probably in the near future.

Single hooks on hard baits
I've finally nearly completed my single hook replacement project. These are all Owner size 1 and 2 "treble replacement" hooks. I think I'll order a pack of 1/0's and up-size some of these(and be able to finish the devils horse in the box), but I'm pretty happy with how they turned out so far. The only exception to my madness is the LC Sammy, I just don't think I can mess around with a lure that cost that much.

Tom Brady's Diet and Workout
Unlikely, have you seen his wife? I've never been a Patriots or Brady fan but it's impossible to deny he's one of the best to have ever played.

Has Anyone Purchased the Rico Blems Before?
Here is the finished product with the dressed single hooks. Igotwood is a super cool guy, he did these for nothing. I originally planned on having the hook point up but they look better down.
