I agree. I stock up on KK SP when Kastking ebay has it on sale. I have 150 yard spools of 40#, 30#, 20# and 10# that's half a dozen spools of line that I bought for less money than 2 regular spools of power pro.

If you search Kastking braid on Ebay the first listing is the Kastking official store. For the next 11 hours they have a sale on Superpower braid. I was able to get 150yd spools of green 10 pound braid for $2.46 a spool.

So sorry Tom. I hope he gets strong enough to get treatment.

Good advice above. My favorite topwater bait for Smallmouth Bass is the Whopper Plopper 90 Second place would be a Popper style bait like the PopMax or Rebel Pop R. More than half the time the Smallies around here hit the topwater baits I throw as they hit the water so any topwater lure will work.

We are bracing for a system that will dump snow from Sunday afternoon until Tuesday morning. 16” or more when it is all said and done. First big storm of the season. Got my snowblower back from being repaired today. Talk about just in time.

The fish in my avatar is the biggest river Smallmouth Bass I have caught. Got her on a bone colored Whopper Plopper last year from the upper Hudson River NY She weighed in at 4lbs even.

Towards the end of this season I was using 10# Berkley Big Game for topwater and 12# Berkley Vanish for everything else on my baitcasters.

The Mojo was redesigned in 2016 Perhaps the worker told you what they did because the Mojo is handcrafted in Mexico and the Premier is handcrafted in the USA factory you visited. It would make sense they want people to but the Premier.

Thanks. I bought it with squirreled away mad money. To many real life issues needed my attention (new water heater, car repair and new tires) to be able to buy it without saving.

I have been saving for awhile to purchase the Lew's Pro TI Once I got enough saved to purchase the reel at full retail price of $349 I started shopping around. I found the right handed reel at a website called the North Adventure for $234 That's the lowest price I have ever seen the Pro TI for. I called Dick's customer service line for a price match. It took over half an hour as the rep I was speaking to needed manager approval for a price match of that amount. DSG matched the price and I submitted the order last Friday. The shipping was free and the reel arrived the next day. It really is a beautiful reel. I feel like putting it on a display shelf. It actually is on display right now as the season is over here until spring 2020 With the money I saved I am looking at getting a rod to go with it. I have narrowed it down to the St Croix Mojo Bass or the Lew's TP1 black. Both rods are $129 full retail price. I am waiting to see what kind of deal I can get on black Friday on these rods.

Rebel Craw is a cheap Bass lure that works. Plastics are good cheap lures but you will go through them fast. A small crank like the Rebel Craw will catch fish until you lose it to a snag.

I will be trying this. I am very happy with all the Kastking lines I have tried, (Mono, Fluorokote, Superpower braid) They have all performed well above their price point.

Those would be my choices as well in that order. I would add that I prefer my Winn Grips in black. Any other color will eventually show dirt. I clean mine with Dawn dish detergent to keep them looking new as long as I can. I prefer to seal my cork handle with cork sealer. All EVA foam is not the same. I have rods with cheap foam and others with a higher quality denser foam that feels firm to the touch.
