  1. Fun half day! One of those times you are thankful for BassResource. Came down to the lakehouse to retrieve my weedeater (and run it). It was raining when I arrived so I fished out of a kayak for 3 hours, got 7 bass all on the same senko (unheard of, right?!) I took a rigging tip from @TOXIC and left the eye of the hook out. It appears that was the ticket, the man knows his senkos. Also a generous member of the site gifted me the bag of senkos. What a cool website, eh? The gamakatsu nano also was sticking several of them right thru the cheek plate like @Bluebasser86 described, even with 12 lb mono ! came up the hill to clean the gutters and cut the grass before going back home and I could hear the cicadas. Saw a few holes in the ground…… then looked at the siding and chimney and they were out !
  2. Florida? Golden shiners in the central part of the state
  3. Purty spotted bass
  4. @Swest18x, that’s a monster!
  5. I think I had “holt” of one but it came loose. That part of the Holston is lousy with them
  6. I’ll pass along the video credit to my wife, she’s good with a camera
  7. They are quite wild but there are more humans than Canada and the humans you find in a wilderness area are typically quite the characters in one way or another 😂 Me and my buddy Geoff paddled around in my canoe while my wife was in her kayak. Got some SMB, white bass, yellow bass, and skipjack. Geoff caught the nicest fish of the day that fought like it was much larger
  8. I’ve fished TN wilderness for SMB and trout …….
  9. I wish! I’m getting the dirt from inside the dog fence at the bottom of a big ole hill, it collects and buries the fence pickets . I couldn’t even drive a wheelbarrow down there much less a truck
  10. I don’t start counting until the 3rd spotted cow…..
  11. Carrying dirt up a hill in a big bucket with a shovel for a yoke sucks
  12. I need new rotors but mine have 160k miles on them, I drive grandpa style @TOXIC is gonna install them out in the work parking lot tomorrow 😂
  13. I have several free boats, sure they need some fixin here and there but the payment schedule is undefeated. There is always a back burner option
  14. I can show you an actual dink fest if you’d ever like to see one @T-Billy
  15. @Kyle S, open jig head is good in open water but dragging bottom I do this
  16. Murph en fuego
  17. Your competition paid the catfish to run interference 😂
  18. As much as I love bass fishing, a 30 lb catfish is not something I’m trying to avoid haha. I don’t even try to avoid the 6-8 lb catfish
  19. Coffee. Any food helps but is secondary to the bean water
  20. We have a decent amount of the SMB x spotted bass variety
  21. Nothing here yet but it’s the only time when carp are almost fun to fish for
  22. Had a fun evening on the river, although I still have bugs all in my eyes. Fish were jumping all over , caught 3-4 SMB, lots of skipjack and a couple white bass . Water temp 66-68, even got some video saw eagles, osprey, herons, tons of cormorants, several deer, and a beaver . The Urban wilderness was hopping
  23. @Kyle S, it is I that is a super fan of the dead ringer
  24. According to the hunt for red october, your trolling motor was just performing the crazy Ivan
