  1. Had storms come by us yesterday all day and night and more this morning, all headed that way. May muddy the upper end of the lake and all creeks coming in
  2. Fluketastic
  3. Hey man we already knew you were bad to the bone
  4. Lemme know if you need some maxxum parts
  5. Yes sir!!!
  6. I’ll eat about anything but the almonds are always the last thing left in the pantry (or bag of trail mix ) . And I’d have to be pretty well starved to eat yogurt unless my wife has made some sort of gyros with lamb and taziki sauce
  7. Just when you think you know a guy…… 😂 That doesn’t sound too tasty
  8. @IcatchDinks, I could probably hook you up with a kayak if you don’t mind a little crappy one, I’ve even been known to tote them to Michigan. I’ve got bout 5 of them and other boats, kind of looking like and old abandoned marina around here…….. there are some awesome ones out there but all ya need is one that floats for short trips
  9. I’ve ran over a buoy in a no wake zone……… I was driving a tiller with my 6’10” buddy sitting up in the front. We were 18 yrs old and I thought we were just bumping over a log until it popped up in the prop wash 😂
  10. That sounds awfully specific, I’ve never really seen any of that in 35 yrs of fishing so I’m no help. I’m dragging a worm that’s not a ned rig no matter what time of year it is, spawn or fry or post or pre, rain or sleet or snow
  11. They are down at our house 45 minutes south of Knoxville but haven’t seen any at home (except the one that rode home with me in the back of my truck 😬)
  12. @gimruis, People call them TN tarpon, it’s a skipjack herring. They make premier catfish bait, that’s what I catch mine with cut up but the serious cat fishermen sell them for $6 apiece and they catch hundred pounders with them. My wife caught a 44” striper with a dead one that was about a pound
  13. We got ourselves into quite the topwater frenzy last night, only had to dodge a few hundred lightning strikes on the way back to the truck. Wild evening!
  14. @Pat Brown, she may be hungry soon!
  15. Now just how did you get it to hold still for the measurements? 😂 just kidding , hope you get her up onto dry land soon and show us all the pictures !
  16. Cool deal! I had white bass and skipjack doing cartwheels on topwater last night, I’ll try to post some video in the other species thread.
  17. I’d have a ball catching those pike! Keep after em, they pull harder than the bass anyway the top pros misidentify them regularly, catfish and drum have been extremely common FFS catches on tour this season. One guy even fished for a crappie on a bed for 3 hours before finally catching it
  18. Did a fun float with a group of friends for cinco de mayo. Caught 5 fish, 3 little SM, a rock bass and a KY spot.
  19. There are plenty, caught a KY yesterday in little river (not the one you fished, the one in TN). We have way more KY spots than Alabama spots in my area, Alabama’s have only taken a stronghold in the ocoee river and some of hiwassee river. Ocoee was nearly fishless years ago which might account for some of that
  20. We also have 500 year floods twice a year, always have. I think a revamp of the flood nomenclature is in order
  21. Yes I use them all the time from eagle claw, they seem to cost less on occasion. The paint wears off quickly but they work better for white bass and skipjack in muddy water. Pink and chartreuse. White jigheads with red eyes seem to work very well any time of year with white soft plastics for any species
  22. Saw that on IG and was hoping it would make it here!! Congrats
  23. No bobber required. I put half the crawler on the same jig head you use for mister twister, got this big one and several other nice ones that way. Might have even been my biggest SMB ever
