^ Thought police! (1984, Orwell)- I think more bass need to watch YouTube videos!
@Zcoker, they just talk about livescope again……- Has it been your experience that in spring, when the sun disappears the bite does too?
Spring is for white bass, stripers, or going up north where it’s still close to winter 😂 we are seeing water temps getting above 65 and all of a sudden they are biting. My feeling is that when they are spawning (55-64) they are hard to catch. Above and below that temp range they bite like sharks- I think more bass need to watch YouTube videos!
Great photos! There are people set up with tripods every day taking eagle/osprey photos at Douglas dam. Makes peeing from the boat feel slightly awkward but I imagine they have some similar action shots of the birds with fish- How to replace a guide?
Thread and epoxy if you’ve got it laying around (unfortunately I have all kinds of stuff laying around)- Cheap bourbon...
Jack Daniels is not bourbon…… dickel is good cheap whiskey teachers is decent for cheap scotch- Changed my oil, surprised oil was so clean.
I ain’t got no oil tracker…… 😂 I change it when I can remember to, meant to change it today after reading this thread this morning, got distracted making raised garden beds for my wife . Hopefully I will remember tomorrow- Boat Nearly Collides With Kayak.....
My brother is red/green color blind and my dad was completely color blind . I think I can see fine but I’m just guessing- Has it been your experience that in spring, when the sun disappears the bite does too?
River smallies like a bright hot summer day, spring time is a total crap shoot for me. When they are spawning it can be terrible fishing- St John’s River

Yes with some assistance. another time years ago my buddy was throwing a musky lure and an osprey would grab it over and over, carry it a couple hundred feet, then drop it Friday evening my wife was kayaking and saw a bald eagle eating a white bass . It flew away and she paddled up to the white bass and it was still alive but ripped apart. On the way back to the ramp a paddleboarder said he saw about a dozen white bass floating on the surface, I think the eagle had a busy afternoon- Latest Catch Pics Thread
@Bluebasser86, I know that vibrating jig! Think I still have at least one. @ol'crickety, the eagles will dive bomb and grab big lures, as well as osprey. It’s quite terrifying, I reeled an osprey all the way to the bank the other day . Not good- X Zone Swammer
I’ve done well with them- St John’s River
