  1. @fin, pretty sure that’s the one ! I’ve had to sit thru it 😂 , thank god for bass resource so I can read about fishing while it plays
  2. @Jar11591, my wife likes that book and I think there’s also a Netflix series by the same name. I’m in charge of eating
  3. My buddy’s 8-9 yr old daughter dropped a gobbler opening day ! apparently the season started earlier than I thought
  4. The French broad is pretty big ! It’s loaded with SMB. One of the oldest rivers in the world, older than the Appalachian mtns. It flows right thru them from NC into TN instead of flowing away from them toward the ocean. It goes right by my house also, I fish it several times a week. it will be well over 50 degrees by now I would imagine. Grubs tubes worms and flukes will catch them, be prepared to lose tackle to rocks
  5. Some people I know did fairly well during the “totality “ here in 2017 @The Bassman
  6. Mike is the captain of a float on the hawg parade
  7. According to my science training , your sample size it far too small
  8. Everyone I know just says the punch line 😂 “rectum hell, nearly killed him”
  9. @DinkDonkey30, watch some ice fishing videos on YouTube, they buy more flashers than anybody, especially vexilar
  10. I was at work . And it was raining
  11. I mainly fish skinnier river sections where there are ALWAYS tons of fish. If not bass, carp, buffalo, crappie, bluegill, catfish, etc. They cant exactly walk out and go anywhere so there they are. I could see how this might happen on a lake tho
  12. I can cast either handed , I have LH and RH baitcasters. I cannot reel a spinning reel with my RH tho, wouldn’t take long to learn but I never have
  13. I agree, if you catch a fish in November it was going to spawn in spring (or not) no matter what I do, makes absolutely no difference in my mind fish on peoples
  14. I think I must fish different than most everyone because I never do much damage in the spring, the season everyone else looks forward to. Winter and late summer are where it’s at for me
  15. Live (down) sonar . I guess you could tilt it forward, NOOOO!!!!
  16. We have them all the time, our only natural lake in all of TN was formed by an earthquake that sloshed water out of the Mississippi River. The only one I really felt was a 3.6 I think, its epicenter was in the neighborhood I was living in. The house rumbled from one end to the other and my roommate walked outside and looked up to the sky and said “it’s not even raining out here” 😂
  17. Gussy got 8th, said he watched most of the fish he weighed bite his lure on 2D sonar 😂
  18. One of ours treats broccoli stems that way. Takes it back to her lair and crunch crunch crunch
  19. Good gracious that is pretty snow but I imagine quite the inconvenience in April
  20. Wolves? I’m out…….. 😂 there is a reason they wrote stories about bad wolves a few hundred years ago my buddy killed a deer in UP and while they were gutting it some wolves showed up, I would have just had a heart attack and turned into wolf poo. The wolves apparently just watched from a distance and caused no trouble. Maybe that’s how they were domesticated? I would just assume they intend to rip my neck out haha I was about to say I would imagine they could walk a few hundred miles and I read the artlice, they can walk a few thousand miles ……… sheesh did I mention I’m going camping on a island with wolves this summer ???? I’m not scared at all………
  21. @Bluebasser86, my wife has wanted a golden since I’ve known her, I’m not sure I can show her this photo or we will have one. She calls them “the floof” (I want one too but we are max capacity )
  22. @Log Catcher, I have some extra ones for ya 😂 . My mom gave me several pairs……
