  1. I don’t miss them
  2. Came across a couple hundred of them yesterday. And 6 Osprey as well as countless blue herons gulls and terns
  3. Northern banded watersnake (pretty sure anyway) 😂 danger noodles don’t live here, at least in the water. We have rattle snake and copper head but typically only in on near the mtns. Too cold for the moccasins (thank god!)
  4. I went back to where I was snagging shad yesterday equipped with a brand new 5’ dip net for shad from academy. Of course different generators were on and I could barely see any shad. I had also brought my cast net…… and tossed it enough times to get it stuck and lose it. So I went back 45 minutes closer to home at crackhead creek and netted some shad on my first scoop and caught two bass. I also saw a snake that I thought was dead, I poked its tail and it slithered away. Then went to banff film festival with my wife, fun day other than losing my 25-30th cast net in the same spot 😂
  5. That made my eyes go crossed. lil bit
  6. I like the idea of fishing tournaments but I’m too chicken to ride in bass boats all the time. Stuff happens more often than ya think
  7. I shred that too but 50-65 lb holds up pretty well
  8. I tried it for a couple years, no bueno. We fish two different worlds, no sand here personally I’d rather be fishing than FGing around all day
  9. Braid to leader merely creates more headaches in my experience
  10. Deep down in his heart…….. the @roadwarrior truly dislikes a drum 😂 I was hoping it was something else every hookset, but alas, a bunch of consecutive monster drum. Did see a sturgeon tho!
  11. Running errands took me by a dam so I stopped and fished in a deluge and got soaked , forgot my pants weren’t waterproof…….. snagged threadfin and pitched them out on bobber rig, of course I got 7-8 drum but they were all big
  12. I’ve caught two, I don’t know if it’s legal to catch them on purpose 😂 . it was quite temping with it sitting in front of me for 15 minutes we stocked the fingerlings when I was in college, guess im getting old cuz that thing was huge they put a transmitter in one and it swam from Knoxville to Louisiana also, we have musky. All your hopes and dreams only 4 hours north
  13. I was walking the banks getting shad for bait and this behemoth just appears and chills there forever. Even when it left it would come right back. You can see all the big threadfin flashing around it
  14. It came off the fish when I chucked it back in the water , very much alive. They give me the creeps haha
  15. Your fake winter has become a reality
  16. I know… im firmly against the Alabama crimson tide
  17. Between bass fishing and normal life, I hear more about cold fronts than possibly any other aspect of the universe. No further research is required
  18. Well that was close, I took my canoe out at this airport at 7:00 and the plane crashed at 7:30. They were definitely landing a little squirrelly today https://www.wbir.com/article/news/local/plane-crash-tennessee-river-south-knoxville/51-2f4137a1-bb87-486c-be25-4f4a65fc183b
  19. Short float with a buddy, got a spot , thinking Ky instead of Alabama
  20. @DitchPanda, normally I would, and I thought about it……. But I already have fish in the freezer so it got a reprieve
  21. I could never cipher it, I’ve had side image for 2 yrs and never used it to my advantage 😂. Oh hey look there’s a rock . Cool. Back to fishing
  22. Normally, I wouldn’t know what chipping means but this year I do. I turned my spade shovel into a flat nose.
