I’m not sure they will give it to me but I would love to have it! the family friend that rented our lakehouse for 20+ yrs had them so bad I don’t think I ever saw him wear a shirt. Said he couldn’t stand it
  3. There are several hundred places to watch out for at the current water levels on chickamauga 😂. Right outside of Harrison bay is a place that gets a lot of folks, I’ve dragged up some mud around there. There used to be a running count on a local forum of how many boats were dry docked in the mud.
  4. Dang it I just typed it all on the other thread…….
  5. Funny you’d say that, I often fish differently because of FFS even though I don’t have it. I never knew fish roamed that much, swam that fast, and followed so often. Just from watching “these guys staring at a screen.” It can be quite beneficial to not get angry at the tech and pay attention to how pros fish, it has led to many more catches for me. the thing I’ve really employed is to quit dragging my bait on the bottom all the time and it has definitely caught many fish that I was normally fishing beneath
  6. We use one like the OP has on our annual Alabama trip, very nice. Except when we cleaned a gar, it was so wild it kept flopping up into our face even after several denoggonizations

I definitely had the pox, got a scar from one of them on my forehead
  8. Well I’ve napped next to train tracks so I don’t count 😂
  9. I’m so shocked
  10. @DitchPanda, I think it’s called the 410, it’s $9.99 at academy. Very very very flimsy
  11. Never been to cali but sure looks like a groundhog. Don’t know if they exist out west . If not it’s something similar like marmot, prairie dog, pocket gopher, etc. Groundhog will walk into a trap eventually if you keep fresh sliced apples in there every couple days. But like others have suggested if you can take a pic you can take a shot 😂. Not sure if that’s an option where you live, scatter gun doesn’t go far but the neighbors will hear it . Some would be thrilled some would call the law
  12. Gosh our weathermen never stop talking about them 😂. They mention cold fronts in July when the high temp is like 79 and everyone is sweating
  13. @Bass Junke, Steve indeed comes across happy go lucky, I briefly saw him at the 2021 elite event in Knoxville and he was just walking around with a big smile
  14. I agree with mom, never wear nice clothes fishing. One catfish and it’s all over
  15. It was ripping! That was nearly 10 yrs ago, I was braver back then. There were plenty of people around to come get me if I got swept away 😂
  16. Yup! I like fishing out of my canoe, yet I also enjoy watching bass tournaments. If I were to feel ill, I would change the channel 😂
  17. Seems like last time they went to grand the water was like 39 degrees. And of course people still caught the heck out of them
  18. @Dwight Hottle, you could always stop halfway to Erie and fish smallies any time of year. I could use a lesson with those rapala 12s and smithwick DD
  19. I hate muddy water but purple and black worms have caught some for me. Given enough time I can just drive to cleaner water
  20. Hahahaha woops I read it too fast, thought it said spinning rod carry on, nothing to see here. I know absolutely nothing of how to use spinnerbaits
  21. @Woody B, I’d have to guess spot on that one. My favorite distinguishing character for spots is the rows of stippling below the lateral line and that one has some. Don’t think I’ve ever seen it on SMB
  22. No hits no runs no errors
  23. I thought the classic started on Friday ?
  24. Nice fish @Woody B! For the record LMB SMB and spots can have a tooth patch so that’s not the best indicator. Spots have it way more often than the other 2 but it’s still possible for all 3 to have it, I’ve caught LM and SM with tooth patch.
