  1. @Pat Brown, I think they eat the bones like a dog. I usually see carp scales and crushed up crawdad shells in the scat I did see a local YouTube fisherman catch a cormorant underwater with a live skipjack herring, bout a pound
  2. Nice work @Jmilburn76, that’s a great eagle photo. It’s getting to be where I see one almost every time I’m on the water year round
  3. White bass, striper, catfish. We have walleye but not enough to really target , although some do. I gladly reel them in a cook them. Drum hit everything
  4. Russell Wilson to the Steelers and this bengals fan is slightly concerned haha. The Steelers can win 10 games with a blow up doll at QB
  5. I don’t believe gators are that far inland but always watch for snakes. They don’t regularly kill anybody but might make for a rough day if one bit you people always worry about things like snakes, gators, etc but they are very low on the danger list. Deer jumping in front of your car is always number one most dangerous wildlife. Domestic dog is usually second. The wild thing that actually hurts people that I would look out for is hornets and yellow jackets
  6. I don’t know about that particular rod but grand traverse bay looked like heaven on earth when I rolled by it !
  7. @gimruis, sorry but that made me laugh some. Hopefully they trap it too because a beaver can rebuild anything overnight. There’s a reason they are referred to as busy
  8. Good gracious, it isn’t nearly that strong here 😂
  9. @ol'crickety it was sunny and I had a black hoodie so that helped, bout over the wind tho. I like dragging the bottom. I don’t know how the people on the plains live with it 😂
  10. Had about an hour and a half of free time this morning , wind howling again and 34 degrees. Can’t use a worm so I tried a crankbait that a BR member gifted me, seemed like a good idea against shallow rip rap in the waves. Well by golly a 16” smallie grabbed it and fought like crazy! Fun
  11. @casts_by_fly, I thought England was colder than that, doesn’t sound too bad !
  12. -8 the coldest you’ve been in? I think we had that in January. We went to the in-laws in Ohio for new years probably 4-5 years ago, I think we were there almost a week. The high would be like -8 and the low -11 and it really didn’t change the entire trip. With wind……. Now I realize why the population of their town is 90 something humans
  13. I can’t see them either but I assume they are spawning when they quit biting my hooks which is ironic because everyone always wants to fish during the spawn and garage their boats for the rest of the year
  14. I stand corrected, saw a loon today
  15. Nice job @Woody B!!! We had a %**\!€£ hurricane and i nearly sank my battleship. Got a tiny crappie
  16. I’ve never been on their website but I suck at the internet , that’s for sure ! I tried to get an Uber once and instead gave all my info to an identity thief . I like buying stuff with money in person
  17. The answer to #4 is always yes
  18. E. None of the above if I knew any of those, why go ?
  19. You know, I think I ate some chain pickerel we caught in lake Toho and they were good , but that was a long time ago and can’t recall. Wouldn’t mind trying again but we don’t have any
  20. @throttleplate, maybe the drought will make the fish easier to pick off ? Less hidey holes ?
  21. 95 is rare here but 88 and steamy is extremely common. Welcome to the jungle
  22. Whoa whoa whoa @Way north bass guy, no more masonry????
