  1. That’s a striped shiner methinks
  2. Attn: @IcatchDinks, I might need to borrow your screen name……… Pretty skies downtown tonight ? my wife pulled over and took this last pic on her way home
  3. I’ve never had a fish break one (on account of them never biting it……) but I did shatter one on my trolling motor good idea @Jig Man, that looks tough
  4. It seems someone has thrown a rock inside their glass house
  5. Yeah I remember that pic ! there are certain things deer won’t mess with like marigold but I’ve never heard of much a rabbit won’t nibble on. I do have lots of customers that always say the rabbits are gone from their yard this year but I don’t think I really believe them, probably just active at night. usually everyone says the rabbits are gone because there’s a fox or now we have tons of rabbits because the fox is gone but usually one comes with the other and nobody can watch their yard 24 hours a day
  6. Don’t white tails also eat your hostas ?
  7. You must have not heard, smallmouth are only caught with drop shot and ned rig, only up north, and only with livescope your shallow Texas squarebill SMB is hereby disqualified
  8. Snow phase turkey on the left
  9. I trap skunks for a living, so no
  10. Courthouse is wise to that trick, have been for years.
  11. Stoneroller, northern hog sucker, creek or river chub would be my first guesses. Bet I can guess it from a pic. Striped shiner gets pretty big too
  12. I’d rather get clocked with a stout piece of lumber
  13. I just fixed a woodpecker hole 25 feet up, only 76 degrees currently . Unfortunately gotta get up on a roof late this afternoon for an apartment complex squirrel and then mow grass after work
  14. Don’t say where it is, but I posted it on the internet…… I’d be dragging a worm on the edge and dragging it even more where the x is
  15. Fun evening ! We all got a pretty decent one and some dinks. 18” with fly rod, 19” with Texas rig and what I was catching was with a hand poured paddle tail. On the double, I had a follower chasing my fish. It got close enough for my buddy to just drop a topwater next to it and he got it!!!! Usually we can never catch the followers. Also got a mooneye or goldeye and used it for live bait to no avail
  16. Since that brace appears bolted in I guess it wouldn’t be terribly tricky just takes a while. Also if you ever decide to replace the one, coat the new piece with sheets of fiberglass and lots of resin im guessing the reason they leave a gap at the bottom is so it’s not sitting in a puddle while fishing in the rain . Sides you would think the bigger the stronger
  17. Holy catfish
  18. TnRiver46 replied to Mobasser's topic in Everything Else
@Mobasser, Replace a wooden transom and you’ll sleep like a dead man That works til your buddy cranks the volume up to max while you’re sleeping. Had a buddy do that to another buddy and I don’t know if I’ve ever laughed so hard. He sat up like the undertaker in a coffin
  19. If only I didn’t have to climb up on roofs and attics, mow grass and load dozens of kayaks in an asphalt parking lot all day everyday!
  20. Y’all need some better friends…….. I’ll tell my buddies anything , I love seeing them catch big smallies in my magic spot. I was in FLA around Christmas and they sent me this picture , they had been asking for other suggestions because the magic spot was dead from sunrise til bout 11 am. They reeled up to move and both got hit while reeling up. I don’t fancy the idea of laying on my death bed celebrating that I kept all my fish secrets and successes to myself .
