That’s nice! Ours goes out fairly often when trees fall on it but they fix it quickly. This intentional outage stuff is new to us all In 1993, we had 2 feet of snow and power was out for weeks. We lived on top of a massive hill and mom made us walk to the store for provisions because we couldn’t get down. I was so sick of playing cards by candle light when that ended……..

I just went one time for the bassmaster classic last year and took a canoe. No clue about anything and I caught 7 pretty easy in a short session. Spotted bass have a wonderful habit of attacking fishing lures granted, guntersville is also loaded with spots nowadays that most people don’t target. The mammoth checked the extended forecast and it said more ice………. wrong again!! weather has never done anything but change the one part of it that is really messed up is human perception for instance, our news stations are saying this is the coldest it’s been in 20 years. It was colder at least 3 times in the last 7 years since I bought my house. That won’t sell many commercials tho

I saw some ice while driving along this morning

First one I’ve had in my life or even heard of around here. I’ve heard of them in TX, another place everyone is moving to. I think it probably has something to do with all of NY and CA moving here meanwhile someone on a development/planning/housing committee is making big bucks failing at their job (or taking bribes from developers). The board is of course made up of former developers I believe it’s the same root cause as to why @bulldog1935 doesn’t have any water in his fishing holes, over development

TVA is conducting rolling blackouts all across TN, they said the grid couldnt handle everyone’s heat pump. Can’t wait for electric cars! (Not) everyones pipes are frozen , I think it was in the 50s inside when I woke up this morning another ironic part is TVA will just pass the cost of anything right along to the customers they left in the cold and dark

I may have one somewhere, although I think I gave it away a few years back. Mom handed it down to me, she used it extensively when we were kids. I of course never once attempted using it haha
