  1. I’d have to disagree there, every single limit is based on total length. A 5 lb bass can also vary in length so what’s the difference? We always refer to smallmouth by length, 20” is the benchmark. Scales don’t work if you fish as hard as we do
  2. I’m going every time I have a chance to no matter what
  3. Yeah but it turns a profit (sometimes) I bet the golf course makes more money
  4. I’d rather get hit with a 2x4 in the teeth haha
  5. Tell that to my buddy in Scottsdale that plays golf several times a week haha. Or the courses that make a ton of money off him
  6. I’m just being a smarty pants, poking fun at the mono haters
  7. That would’ve never happened with a premium fluorocarbon
  8. Western ag wastes a lot of water too, an almond tree requires some ungodly amount of water to produce one pound of almonds. I could eat one pound of almonds and still he hungry. People gotta make money somehow though
  9. Happens like that all the time, which is why I don’t go down rabbit holes with fancy new stuff . I could sit there and throw his spinnerbait for decades and catch one bluegill
  10. My wife drives an 08 fit 270,000 something miles. Great car and one of my fishing buddies is a master Honda tech. He adjusted the valves once a few years ago and showed me how to switch the coil packs. She just lays the back seats down and uses it like an SUV, runs like a top
  11. I prefer not using this ramp, but it puts you in a good zone where most people won’t fish. A lot of times the water is up in the parking lot and swirling by 5 mph so it gets washed away frequently
  12. Fished after work, got some on marabou jig. If anyone is missing a canoe I know where it is
  13. Dragging an aluminum boat onto rocks sand or logs won’t hurt a thing. I’ve got a 1957 aluminum v bottom, a 70s aluminum canoe, and a 2007 aluminum center console. Ive never once damaged anything by dragging them onto land . This is fishing not a fashion contest
  14. Absolutely . There’s lots of places you can even fish during the event, all competitors have gone downstream in the past. There’s some excellent smallmouth waters off limits to competitors up river we got on a good striper bite during the 2019 classic in mid March
  15. It was close to 100 when I was fishing yesterday evening. The smallmouth liked the Fishlab craw thumping into rocks on a shakey head
  16. Bring it. Bassmaster classic 2023 would be a good time for it.
  17. The main thing on my bucket list is to travel as little as possible. It shall be a constant battle until I leave this earth
  18. Young Frankenstein
  19. They were chomping on the FishLab crawdad last night. Got several with it, a couple on a finesse worm, and sunfish with a fly
  20. Got it loud and clear @scaleface
  21. I’ll try to watch and let you know if it works on my end a lot of times refreshing the page solves a myriad of issues
  22. I’m the opposite, had to take braid off my spinning reels to enjoy it
