  1. Well heck!!! I may need to find some, I’ve never seen them in the store . Live ones can be hard to find at times
  2. Gotcha thanks. My buddy fishes down there a bit, he said it’s good for white bass too
  3. You are actually Tony hawk, aren’t you?? I knew it all along
  4. Well it makes me smile to know I have the same strategy as an accomplished angler like you. The more my hook is underwater, the better my chances. Simple
  5. When it comes to the ocean, I’m sticking near the mangroves
  6. Yep. Endured two monster storms already
  7. Aw here now. It scares you more than it hurts, they do look like little aliens. The live ones will stay on a hook for half a day and 20 fish, it’s crazy pro tip: when your buddy is bent over picking up helgrammites, drop one (or a crawdad) down the back of his pants and start the video camera
  8. Nice! Which lake on the river?
  9. I think they recently broke the state record for smallmouth on oahe
  10. Ouch! Hope you heal up fast. What’d ya do to hurt it? Hold up too many double digit LM?
  11. Any port in a storm also applies on the TN river
  12. Dang. Are those swans just standing there? Haha. We have mountains to break this stuff up back home. I’ve seen wind and rain like this plenty but it’s usually associated with a tornado haha
  13. Them salty ole boys are probably in there having a breakfast beer with waves landing on the roof
  14. Sheesh
  15. Do it. The ads suck but it’s worth it
  16. I watched this guy going 3-4 mph and waves crashing all over the top of his yacht. The wind is blowing directly from east to west and the storm is moving the exact opposite direction. How is that even possible???!!!!
  17. Haha! But up is where all the squirrels and bugs on the ceiling are
  18. I forgot to add my unit pictured above was 200 bucks 6-7 years ago
  19. Thanks for the post, nice outing. 76 degree water will cool you right off if you jump in
  20. Sweet! Sounds like a fun trip, nice fish. That whipping sound is when you don’t wait long enough at the top of the back cast and the fly comes off (line breaks). Basically there is still slack in the line and then you start the forward cast, creating the bull whip sound. We call that the “buck fifty” cast (because that’s how much money you just lost). Everything works much better when fly fishing with smooth, slow, nice and easy casting motions. No herky jerky snappy business, no power, no muscle
  21. Yeah buddy!!!
  22. Cold in September? You in Canada?
  23. Keep up the good work!!!
  24. They told us all to go to college in high school, the kids that didn’t are making big money. The kids that did are mostly deep in debt. Luckily I got college for free but my buddies that work in factories make 3 times as much as me
