What Y'all Doing
I had a customer show me one of those and I tried not to laugh but he said he had caught one with it so the joke was on me haha. I like one you can test fire several times to make sure the kill mechanism will make it through the dirt without hitting rocks or clods. I tired that with the big stomp trap and couldn’t quite get it going but I have also only piddled with one for about 30 minutes. These are my money makers........ the smaller black ones are victor scissor traps, not my favorite but my coworkers like them ok. The ones on the left with maximum coils are by far my favorite but no longer made. They still make the one on the far right With the weaker spring and the small black scissor traps.

Yeah I’ve got 3 dogs that catch moles. That’s way worse than anything the mole ever did . I’ve got some traps I’m cleaning right now that I’ll post pics of

Out of line ?
Well let’s have a lake name and some GPS coordinates. Lord knows no one ever figured out fishing on their own
-
Out of line ?
Exactly!!!!! Im not worried one bit about people whose fishing strategy is to go online and try to duplicate success at exact locations. They will always be a couple steps behind

Out of line ?
Well I guess I’ll chime in from the other side. Yeah, little out of line. I’ve had people do that to me before and I wasn’t thrilled about it. If you don’t want me to dance, tackle me before I get to the end zone. I’ve had my own friends get mad at me for posting picture of Tennessee caught fish in Tennessee fishing forums. Oh the horror. If you aren’t catching anything, it’s not because of me

Wasted a day for nothing ...
The game wardens don’t really have a fond opinion of fishing tournaments in the area. The ones I know would probably get a laugh out of someone getting cheated out of fish tournament winnings. They would much rather see anglers legally harvesting fish and taking kids out than a bass tournament

good grief
I’ve heard cicadas panicking in a cloud of dust but I never knew what was attacking them. I’m in the epipen crew so I don’t get too close! Haha. I’ve also seen the cicada killers digging holes in the ground about the size of a dime, literally throwing dirt out of them. Some folks also call them “miner bees” for that reason

good grief
I thought we have always had them, we referred to them as cicada killers because they always seemed to be carrying around a cicada

What type of area do hunters/anglers reside in?
I grew up in A suburb but now I live very close to downtown Knoxville. I’m not sure if I would call it metropolitan but it’s pretty crowded on game days. If you drive 30-45 minutes in any direction you are pretty much in rural areas if not wilderness

Victor harpoon traps are your best bet for the moles . That and extreme levels of determination

What Do You Bring For Lunch on the Water?
I eat lunch at work and usually fish the evening. If I’m out all day I usually just wish that I had lunch and start watching along the bank for blackberries and papaws . If by some miracle I have enough forethought to bring food, it’s usually a massive bag of tortilla chips. They still taste ok with fishy hands and the salt replaces what you sweat out haha
