  1. I put up a magnetic strip for tackle to dry out of. Every time I look in one of the 3700's I replace items from the strip
  2. To the OP.....if you could swing the impact, you would have a more stable platform along with a few more bells and whistles. I also think the extra width is a huge plus
  3. NHBull replied to Rick Howard's topic in Fishing Reports
One word......Net... And sorry for your loss
  4. Scott, does wind precipitate this? The thermocline is at approximately 15' and the temp is reported to be 67. The lake is spring fed and with water levels at all time highs, I wonder if the current from the dam, could be changing things.....that said, the debris could be from changing water levels..
  5. There are literally dozens of them on my lake.....while I have not fished in one, I would not hesitate given my time in other Lunds
  6. Unlikely,.......it is that time of the year! If mid September comes and things haven't changed, ????
  7. Lakes are starting to turn over in Central NH and was wondering how it effects you in your region. The bite has been improving and surface Temps are 75 degrees. I understand that less oxygenated water will rise, but the bass will be revisiting the flats in a couple weeks. Any input is appreciated. Thanks,Al
  8. Uni to uni is the knot you want. If you are thinking of adding 100 feet, why not pull more off and add 150, which is 1/2 a 150 yard spool. This way the knot is more likely to stay on the spool Edit @Tim Kelly......another senior moment....should had just said add 75 yards and be done with it.......
  9. Just buy a couple every other time you check out and you will quickly have what you need. There are also some variety packs on Amazon that can get you started
  10. 110's are awesome! Should be in everyone's tackle box....
  11. Like the others have said.......but if you choose to, owner 36 and 35's have been my go to. Side note.....I have been really disappointed with some of the meggabass trebles. Broke 2 yesterday while slow rolling over some rock. They just broke off!
  12. I run the lightest I can get away so I am deep in the lighter weights. I don't punch so a couple.5, 3/4, and 1 ounce are seldom used. I have also doubled up 1/8 weights for some extra knock
  13. All Tungsten, all the time. It is just easier and laws are pushing us in that direction. And I always have enough.......never have counted them
  14. For me the chatterbait is a substitute for spinner bait.....I fish it the same way., that said, I usually give up on it to soon too.
  15. I own several companies jigs, but tend to reach she eats more often. I suspect as I replace jigs, they will be she eats. I am finding the 1/4 and 3/8 get most of my attention
  16. I was getting concerned about having someone to fish with in my latter years, but it seams that problem may be solved......She also said we needed a bass boat.....we settled on a Lund Pro V
  17. He looks a bit impacted to me. ?
  18. I believe I am a patient man, but can't bring myself to slow down to the point of throwing a ned rig. The benefit is that it forced me to use other techniques that I had less confidence in. One way to get use to a new technique is make it the only one you use for the day. That is how my dad taught helped me improve my golf game........Play 18 hole with a 9 iron and a putter and your short game improves dramatically
  19. My daughters first outing in a few years yielding her a couple 2.5 pounder..... Glad to have the family all on the same page
  20. My daughters first outing in years and landed 3 over 2 pounds...... ......proud papa
  21. I have used blue label for yrs, and remnants of FC spools
  22. Resale on the ci4 would be better is your choose to resell
  23. I am on the other side of the fence here. I tried both and own a few ci4's. It was better in my hands and super smooth. There isn't a wrong decision hear.
  24. While many times company acquisitions can lead to a larger quality product, often it is about positioning products ie premium, mid market and entry market products. This has happened throughout the marine industry over the last 10 yrs. I don't have a crystal ball on this one, but withhold judgment for a little bit..........can't help it, I am a half full kind of guy
  25. I have really good luck with the dredgers as they get down fast and are less boyant and you can have a slow retrieve and pause. Their strength is also there weakness if you are looking for something to rise quickly......they are my do to....at least for now....good luck
