  1. Owner circle and wacky hooks are my go to
  2. Not sure what a bay Loon is, but there is a ***** load on Squam.......probable half a dozen areas roped off for nesting and a big reason why NH banned lead weights
  3. Things are picking up on Squam..........put 8 in the boat with 4 over 3 lbs
  4. Since I went with the owner circle hooks, I never looked back. No more gut hooked fish And seldom miss I seldom let them fall on fully stacked kine and I too am a line watcher
  5. Awesome! My grandson is only 15 months, so I am a bit behind you, but can't wait for that day. I think that is why so many enjoy the sport, Fishing with dad and uncle is times I will remember always

  8. I think it was Jimmy Houston's and I too use it from time to time. I believe the doubled uni test about the same, but there is a lot going on with the latter Truth be told, most knots are fine if tied properly.

  16. Braid only as long as it doesn't touch the bottom. If it touches the bottom, it get a FC leader If my livelihood depended on it, I would do much more testing.

  20. Swing for the fences,,,,,,,a Mississippi better than gut hooked, and I can't tell you how many times I got hit after the original set
  21. Yup....I am in the minority. I tie directly to braid and it runs as deep as it did on tatsu
