Stubborn to a fault or determined to overcome?
I love a challenge and post spawn can slowdown. Use it as a learning experience.

Bought some braid??
I run 20 lb braid on my casters without any problem..... For salad, I go 40 lb IMHO , 40 lb braid for a senko is overkill
-
Quantity -> Quality
I personally think of spinning gears as more of a finess set up and don’t have more than 10 lb braid on any.

Help a fella out
I found frog fishing difficult until an old friend gave me a piece of advice. ”when you want to set, don’t “, when you do set it like you would a shark. I don’t use the technique much, but my percentage went up

30lb braid on spinning?
You can, but is likely overkill. 10 lb is usually more than enough. This is tru especially if you have casting setups for the salad

Got me a new boat puller
@slonezp, glad you got the Ford and not a GM (Government Motors). Think I will be right behind you as my Toyotais At 150K and the new ones are more than I want to spend

Swim Jigs... skirted/non-skirted
I have gone to the swim jig a lot more lately, but cut the shirt shorter to allow it to flair on a pause.......my bites have increased dramatically since doing so

White lies to go fishing...
Mine encourages me.... I prefer to think she wants me to relax, but it could be she just wants me out of her hair..?

Does anyone use a snap swivel on their lines permanently?
Snaps for CB, or Jerks , At least until I figure out what to use. .......or if I want a nose down look. .....Also, sometimes a swivel on a fluke It I want it to run a tad deeper, but seldom

Forgive me for doubting.
For an apples to apples comparison I don’t think Diarrhea has a spinner in the class of the ci4 for the money. On the caster fronts I still think the Mets and Conquest are the king of the hills, but that is this simple mans opinion......Additionally, I think the Bantam has staying power....again, just an opinion. Before I went to some higher end reels, I reach out to several guys that work and tweak reels and asked which company had more issues and the majority of replies were diarrhea.....that said, for 100.00 it is hard to beat them

Fishing a lake with a thermocline
In the Summer, I find a lot of fish suspending just above it and they are incredibly hard to land. I try to find cover at that depth and try to dissect it. I have never caught a bass deeper than 30 feet

Night fishing
I don’t get out as much as I like, but I use head lamps with multiple colors. Red and blue help maintain night vision and I do place light sticks in important areas. When it gets dark, I first fish top waters like the rat, WP and jackle..........I also get reminded how much of a sight fisherman I am. I only fish areas I know and know well. Also, no poles on deck for me and as my balance is off and I’ll break them for sure. I also slowdown as the increased level of focus is greatly increased. .......Leaving breadcrumbs on your electronics is a great idea and reduces stress.

Spinning vs casting for dropshot
I am just more accurate with a BC .....but do use spinners for wacky and drop shot and I have one on the deck at all times. If I miss a top water hit, I throw the wacky and tend to do OK
-
Warm rain vs cold rain....
The surface dropped a couple degrees due to wind and white caps and I was usually in under 20 20 feet of water since the spawn is a bit off. As far as bait spinners poppers bladed jigs flukes CB Jerks......where I had better luck, but not like normal whopper plopper

Time to update the PB!
Heck, you just may MY day.......on a side note, I have stated filling one well and putting in for that very reason

G. Loomis TWFR or shimano Zodias
No wrong decision, but after my experience with Loomis, that’s where I would put my money

Warm rain vs cold rain....
This might be a stupid question, but like most I catch more and bigger in Summer rain, but really struggled yesterday with a 20 degree drop in air temp, rain and 10mph wind. is this common, or just me? Before the rain, water temps were about 64
