  2. Start watching eBay for a 60's Gillette fat boy and don't look back. ......prep is 90% of the shave. Med Prep blades are will with the little extra
  3. A Google search will bring you to outstanding forums and youtube is your friend. As soon as you get the hang of it,, everything is better. Feel free to PM me with questions

  6. Stand corrected, 11 lb 8 is my blue label FC
  7. At a local level this is very true. I have friends that are trying to "make it" and because of the sheer volume of there gear, much is lower than the weekend warrior. Having to outfit 30 set-up with few quality sponsors make it cost prohibitive unless they are trust fund babies
  8. This is why my second granson, who will be born in August is getting his Shimano Conquest next week ?
  9. I found some open water today and decided to to try my shamano conquest MBR M/F and it may have spoiled me for life. It threw a 1/4 ounce CB a country mile and I was heaven. While it will never be a diticated B rod, it sure could be. Had it paired 1st with a MET MGL the a Conquest. I will sleep good tonight

  14. This is something I struggle with as I don’t mind paying for quality and any rod that allows me to fish it all day without pay is a plus. I would like to keep it under 300.00. Thanks
  15. Apologies as I know this has been beaten to death, and I know one does not need to spend a lot of money for a crankbait rod. I have a MH e6x that works fine for heavy baits, but lacks on the lighter baits. i know there are tons of rods that fit this bill, but I am looking for something that is a joy to throw.. Tha is, and sorry for The redundant post Al
  16. Anyone try this color. I am in the process of going hi-vis on a few set-ups and while I don’t think it would show up like a yellow, anything has to be better than moss green Thanks edit, and when it bleeds, I wonder what color ends up on the hands
  17. I think many of us have experienced this. For me, I go to extremes. Ned and whopper plopped gets the call, but since it is still cold, Hair jigs and under spins. good luck

  21. I have the MH e6x CB rod and use it for all my CB needs. While there are many comparable options to the E6x J/w, the Swimbait and CB models are a great value around 150.00 and it is hard to beat the warranty
  22. I have 2 ci4’s and am very happy
  23. I think the type of wobble is more important that the knock
  24. Like the others have said, a trailer is the way to go..... But I have had more luck immediately picking up a weightless wacky or trig and throwing in the same spot
