  1. I looked into doing this on my G3, but from what I read from other G3 owners I can do it but my rod locker will basically be useless except for storing extra tackle.
  2. I have two older Garmin Echomap units, one is a 73SV and the other is a 73DV. I love the units, they are very user friendly and are basically a plug in play unit, meaning you can plug it in, turn it on, and it doesn’t really need adjustments to get good images. My only dislike is my units are the older ones that don’t have QuickDraw. I am seriously thinking about upgrading to the 93SV UHD very soon.
  3. Neither did I, that makes three.
  4. I’ve started my very own retirement collection this year when I retired a Pad Crasher I’ve had for over a decade I believe. I’ve caught a ton of bass on that frog, lost it a few times and went through hell to get it back. That’s my only lure at this point and probably won’t add to it for years to come but it’s fun to look at it and reminisce.
  5. I just sent my package out to some town in the USA.
  6. Nothing but rain here and a ton of it! Ice is out on the lake as well. I guess I was 3 months off with my prediction. ?
  7. Hear hear!
  8. Hang in there, time and experience pays off. We’ve all been there. Just stick with it.
  9. John Cox is in his own world, that’s for sure. As far as I can tell Wheeler isn’t pimping any electronic sponsorship as he’s running all three major brand. John Cox still runs a Fortrex and tiny (compared to everyone else) graphs. While Wheeler supports his sponsors (as he should) John Cox does his own thing by supporting his cause with his tournament finishes. These two guys are arguably number 1 and number 2 in the world when it comes to professional bass fishing yet have two totally different approaches to the game that is professional bass fishing.
  10. Anything Strike King for the price you’re looking. Even if your budidgt was $200 I’d suggest Strike King S11
  11. Lake Michigan is on your side
  12. I wasn’t kidding when I said you’d be disappointed! The deepest spot I’ve found is 10’ I believe. 10 years ago it was 14’. It’s an impoundment and filling in fast. Hopefully I can put a stop to it but the weed killers over power me.
  13. I’m not a tournament angler I just follow professional bass fishing, so is it possible that Wheeler is super anal and has read the tournament rules front to back numerous times and knows them by heart and sees potential opportunities and asks ‘what if’? For the record I’d be the complete opposite. Lol
  14. When using these as a trailer do you rig them vertically or horizontally?
  15. What could go wrong? ?
  16. I’m out then! Lol
  17. I’ve never been one to lie. ?
  18. I’m not having any luck now because my lake is covered with ice, but this summer it was the Rage Bug (cut the first 2-3 ribs off) and @Siebert Outdoors Fogy, I love that bladed jig! I also threw the Rage Bug on a 4/0 hook TR with a pegged 1/4-3/8 weight.
  19. That’s how I proposed to my wife!
  20. If Wheeler were (and it’s a big if) getting preferential treatment I’d venture to guess he’s none the wiser to it and the preferential treatment would fall on the TD, not Jacob Wheeler.
  21. Really?
  22. We’re right close to the line as usual. It’ll either be 2” of rain or 4-8” of snow. My guess is a mixture of both leaning towards extremely heavy wet snow. I know it’s passed due but I’m not looking forward to it.
  23. I would totally disagree with Mercer on this statement. He’s not living in the gray area. The rules are clearly written so there is no gray area. If they want to add rules as they go along to avoid these instances where someone takes advantage of the rules then by all means go ahead, but I think that’s a slippery slope for sure, which I’m guessing is why nothing has been changed or modified.
  24. If you’re pushing the boundaries and not breaking a rule then I say you’re a smart person and using everything to your advantage.
