Back when I was going through chemo one of my bosses who puts hot sauce on everything game me a bottle of Dave’s Insanity sauce and said “take some of this and it’ll knock that cancer right out of you”. He said this jokingly of course, but my stepmom put a teaspoon of it in a 3 gallon pot of chili and had to dump most of the tomato juice out and start over because it was too dam hot! The label jokingly said great for removing oil spots on your driveway. I wouldn’t be surprised if it actually did!

Hmmm I’ve never seen these before! Do you use them for punching too?

I’m putting together a TW list for the up coming Black Friday sale and I’m looking for opinions on flipping hooks or what you guys use for flipping and punching. I have some flipping hooks but I’m not sure I’m fond of them. I exclusively have always used 3/0-5/0 EWG hooks for so plastics when not using jigs, so going from EWG to flipping hooks for flipping and punching (which I just started doing this year) is a big change. So what say you?

I was supposed to this afternoon with the wife but I couldn’t get out of work in time. I’m going for sure tomorrow or Sunday, or both (hopefully both). This will probably be the last time this year. Now for the dilemma, which lake to fish?

Braid on every set up but two, I haven’t looked back.

I bought a couple 1.5 oz ones from him a few months back. Still trying to get used to that heavy recking ball on the end of my line.

Things are warming up here in Michigan. It’s supposed to be 70 by Sunday with (hopefully) tolerable wind. So the plan is to take the wife out her final time Friday and 6poundbass and I out most likely our last time Sunday. We’ll see though the following weekend doesn’t look too shabby either.

I fished out of a 14’ flat bottom for 16 or so years and upgraded almost 2 years ago. We had some great times and caught plenty of nice bass out of it. My boat still isn’t big 17.5’ and that’s by design. Most of my lakes I fish are only a couple hundred acres and the biggest being around 1000 acres. I can still get to my honey holes (50 acres) I fished with my flat bottom.

Finally, the suspense was killing us! It looks good and some of the changes sound like they’ll be beneficial to ignoramuses like myself. ? Good work!
