BASS Elite series will be live on Fox next year
The confused look was basically a why post then, just like the Hobby Lobby thread I started. You’re entitled to your own opinion I just don’t understand why the post. Fox Sports is a far cry from Fox News. Oh well. I have a back log of shows I’ve yet to watch. Looking forward to this though.

Pointer 65
Word on the street is there are a few pointer lots coming up for sale in the flea market in the near future. Knowing the seller they’ll be cheap and have upgraded hooks.

Baitcaster Play
Get rid of them and start fresh. I’ll dispose of them for you. I’ll meet you in St. Johns to pick them up. ?

Post a photo a day!
Mother Nature can be a cruel lady, but after wind gusts topping out at 64 mph yesterday I see she still has a sense of humor. At 37 years of age I don’t know if I’ll ever stop thinking tipped over porta potties are funny! Let’s hope it’s not occupied, if it is the poor sap is on his own.

Don't let the bait monkey get ya, 2020 edition
The Bait Monkey is going to destroy me. It all started last night when @A-Jay put some of his cranks for sale at the Flea Market. I adopted a lot of deep diving crankbaits. Then last week the wife got me a decent gift card to TW so I’ve been making my wish list up for Black Friday.

What’s your fishing style
Power fisherman here. I really want to get into finesse fishing and I have everything to finesse fish I just haven’t brought myself to slow down.

12poundbass’s second annual year in review thread
2020 was an odd year all around, I’m sure most of you would agree. Misses: We got a late start this year because we were told we couldn’t fish or we would be fined. We won’t go any further with that one. I did catch my first smallmouth out of a lake so that was good. That was the only one I got so that was a bummer. We also lost a couple poles, two just broke, and one went overboard (I sure miss that one). I’m still struggling to get away from beating the banks. I’ve successfully been Senko free for two years now. If I can beat that addiction then I can beat the urge to hit the banks. Hits: Got the negatives out of the way first. The fish weren’t plentiful this year by any means, neither were the chances for us to go out, but there were plenty of things that were positive. I really took a liking to the vibrating jig particularly @Siebert Outdoors he has. I’ve used vibrating jigs before and never had much luck. After finding luck this year it became my go to and I’ve taking a liking to it! Screwing around on our dock I decided to try skipping. It took a while to get the hang of it, but I’ve become fairly good at it and it’s paid off a couple times already so one more tool I can add to the arsenal. 6poundbass has learned to do it as well. 6poundbass has continued to grow as an angler as well. Like I have previously said 2020 was just an odd year all around! The only big fish that sticks out was my PB pike. My goals for 2021 are to try and get at least one new PB bass, learn a few more presentations, and break this awful addiction to beating the bank. So let’s hear your year in review. What are your hits, misses, and goals for next year?

Interesting. Well, how was it? I’ve had calamari and it was pretty good, but I think anything breaded and deep fried is.- Garmin 93 SV removing from boat quick connect cradle
I’ve had my Echomap units for almost two years now and remove them every trip and have yet to have an issue. Dielectric grease has been recommended by Garmin so it might not be a bad idea.- Waking up super early is easily the worst part of fishing for me.
You triggered a memory. When I was about 14 my brother and I got caught pushing his Mazda 323 down the driveway on our way to drop in hockey at 4 am. It was an hour drive to the rink and we were going to do it before school. As he was popping the clutch we got caught. Those were the good old days!- The latest sale thread
Good to know. @MN Fisher I believe there is a new Striker and Echomap coming out in the coming months so it might not be a bad idea to look elsewhere around Black Friday for some good deals on Garmin. Also call Russell Marine Products, BBG Marine, and GPS Store and see what kind of deal they can give you. These guys are usually the cheapest and usually can give you better deals than their advertised price if you call.- The latest sale thread
I’ve read that if you call them directly they will sometimes add the 20% to products not on the list. The worst they’ll do is say no.- Classic Country & Western
Pretty talented. I can’t even get a chord transition down. ?- Anyone use Yahoo Mobile?
I say get it. With the money you save you can put it towards the Bassresource Christmas exchange, am I right @deaknh03? ?- Garmin Striker 7SV question...
The SV stands for Side Vu Striker 7CV stands for Clear Vu (down imaging) If you get a SV unit you will have Side Vu- Waking up super early is easily the worst part of fishing for me.
The only time I could wake up with no issues was to go hunting or fishing. I’ve passed that torch on to my son. Now that I’m older Sleeping in for me means maybe an hour later than I get up on a work day. Even if I have one too many diet Millers I’m wide awake at the same time. I don’t remember the last time I woke up and it was already daylight.- Veterans day
