What is it about the inflatable ones you don’t like? I have the exact same Onyx you do and I love mine and find it very comfortable. After two years of ‘trying’ it out I’m going to get another one so the wife or anyone else with me can use.

I’m still new at it but I’ve tried and had success with a 3/8oz vibrating jig and a craw trailer, and a 4/0 EWG, craw, and 1/4oz bullet weight Texas rig set up.

Congrats on harvesting your deer. My 10 year old son harvested his first deer this year. We’ve been enjoying jerky. I found a nice tenderloin recipe I’m looking forward to trying in the near future.

They just came to town a couple months ago, so I haven’t found the rockets yet. I’ll have to look for them next time I’m forced at gun point to go in there. ?

I have successfully fought the urge to throw a Senko for two years now. It was my crutch for about 12 years. I would try other lures for a cast or two and quickly go back to the Senko. The only lure that got as much attention as the Senko was the Pad Crasher. Since giving up my addiction I’ve become successful in a few new to me presentations. The wife, she’s a Senko addict through and through, there’s no help for her.

I’m not an airbrush guy, though I’ve pondered it over the years. The reviews seem to be extremely favorable for this unit. I’d say go for it.
