Your’s looks similar to mine last year. My transducer was bad and ended up having to get a new one. I’m not saying yours is because your image goes out quite a bit further than mine did. Your’s could quite possibly be an alignment issue.

My dad isn’t into fishing, so it was my grandpa who took me bluegill fishing the first time when I was (guessing) 4-5 years old. My stepdad came along a few years later and he’s a big walleye guy so that’s what I did growing up. I didn’t really get in to bass fishing until I was 16 or so, now it’s all bass. Fast forward 20 years and I have a 9 year old son who’s in love with bass fishing. He’s like a sponge and soaks up everything Jacob Wheeler has to say.

Mid 50’s Saturday and high around 60 Sunday. Still 4-5” of ice. I might not be over on my prediction. The extended forecast looks very promising.

Last spring my son got me twice with a hook. Once in the neck, just a scratch. The second on top of the noggin which drew blood. Both times I warned him a few casts before he was getting a little too close and that he needed to be aware of his surroundings. It didn’t help.

He caught it on a tip up and most tip ups won’t sit on top of the ice on a hole much bigger than 8 inches.

Just once I’d love to tie into one. My BIL caught a 45 1/2” 25lb northern through the ice. I have it hanging on my wall right behind me.

Things are looking good here. One day in the next text is supposed to be in the 30’s and that day is 38-39. The rest of the days mid to upper 40’s to 50’s. Sunday prediction of 58. Most of the nights will be at or above freezing as well. The month of March is predicted to be above average temps as well. ?

I still call it “seaweed”, I have my whole life. When I started getting serious into bass fishing and learned the term “grass”, I realized then I was lead astray as a child. I still can’t break the habit.

Upper 40’s low 50’s for us too. Add in sunny and breezy and that’s a recipe for some ice eating weather.

Yeah it hasn’t been bad here either. We’re at I think close to a 4’ deficit for snowfall this year. Just ready for sun and warm weather.
