Sorry to talk down on a sponsor but I received more than enough mystery tackle boxes. A lot of the tackle I received through MTB was not too high in quality, seemed like the companies just slapped a price on to have one.

Yeah, the problem was the amount of bad conditions stacked onto one another. I left my bottom contact rod at home because it was too windy for bottom baits and then, since it was sunny the previous three weeks, the weeds were so thick I could only throw swim jigs. I also didn't have any super bright trailers so I went with blue. Water was pitch black with sediment by the way. The other lake I tried would've worked but the other guy I was with didn't want to fish it so we went to the black lake.

Things to try: (there are a lot) Never Used- Neko Rig, Jika Rig, Carolina Rig, Hollow Frog Used without success- Jig (only gotten fish vertical jigging a bass jig), Drop Shot, Spinnerbait

They bleed out rather quickly. For a fishes size, they have a very small amount of blood.

Is that including shipping? If so, not bad.

Regular water color in my area. Yesterday, one of the lakes I tried was black!

I was pretty happy to see some ducks and geese, along with a ton of little swallows. However, when the rain hit skin, it felt like ice. So I don't know if it was totally worth it, although it was nice to take the casting drug. Its better to try and not succeed than to not try at all, you know?

Very true. However, that feeling of being cold is my least favorite feeling. My favorite feeling is hooking up to a fish. I think I am going to go, since I wasn't able to last weekend.

What did you catch the muskie on? Kinda want to try it on Saturday, although weather is getting worse.

This Saturday I have a little bit of time. Air temperature was 70 a few days ago. Now, its barely hitting 50. On Saturday, its going to be a high of 50 degrees with a lot of rain. Is it even worth it to try and fish? I highly doubt my chances of success.

I'm a bank fisherman and I absolutely hate fishing ponds. With ponds, you are restricted in that you know almost the whole lake within two outings and know what they fish bite. You don't learn as much, have as much mobility, and usually the fish aren't as big. I like lakes because you never know what the conditions are going to be like. One day it could be stained and calm, the next muddy and windy.

I'm a high school student... I am also a part time recreational technician, and I plan to go to college for either vet/zoology. Something with animals, I don't know what yet.

Last year I spent a little bit of time at Zorinsky and caught three 3 pounders but have heard of some fairly large ones come out of there. My friend also caught a bunch of 2's on topwater one night and then we were joking around and he said, "There isn't a fish bigger than 6 pounds in here." Suddenly, right in front of us, the largest wild bass my eye's have ever laid on leaped way out of the water. It was an awe- inspiring moment. PS: I heard the muskie are cruising the shallows at Zorinsky right now.

Do you know this for sure? Don't want to spend $200 so I can get a chronarch and end up not being able to buy it.
