when i was a kid about 10 to just before i went to the army. i worked 4pm to 2 AM. i would get off work and drive to the lake or creek and fish till i got tired and would go to the car/truck and sleep a nap and then drive home. i miss it. so peaceful an quite. a person can really think out there.

i totally understand. i have a very bad obsession with buying gear and random things i can use on my boat or for a set up. oh yeah there is always that new color or oh i need this for my rods. witch reminds me i have to pick up some white trick worms..... lol

Caught this fatty or a white biospone worm. Texas rigged with a 5/16 oz weight. Really slow.

i use a med fast action tip. i can feel the bottom with it texas rigged or i can feel the wobble of my crank bait.

i have to say he is about right. i use these for power also. i will use spinning rods for finesse and then a baitcaster for such as cranking and buzzbaits. i will also use a spinning rod for jerk baits cause it just works for me.

HOOAH!!! brother... i am a 63A and was stationed at FT Hood. got out in 2010 and have picked up fishing again for therapeutic reasons and relaxation. it has turned into a obsession....lol
