G3 Eagle 175 v. Crestliner CX17 v. Tracker All Fish 18
That is my plan, but I want to have all the info i can get before I drive a long ways, because if the boat is right for me, ill be purchasing it then. I like the Crestliner better, but I prefer the storage and trolling motor of the G3. The maxim is still a great motor though.

G3 Eagle 175 v. Crestliner CX17 v. Tracker All Fish 18
Looking to buy a new boat this spring. These are the three boats I am considering. Based off the online info, which seems like the best deal? Thanks http://www.lakesidemarinepa.com/index.php?view=inventory&viewid=881 http://www.lakesidemarinepa.com/index.php?view=inventory&viewid=858 https://www.ebay.com/itm/122918005609?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&fromMakeTrack=true

Your coolest new technique this year?
Well, I wanted to learn to fish three lures and become confident in them. Only became confident in the spinnerbait, still need to learn the frog and jig. the ned rig came in clutch during the spawn

Your Favorite Spinnerbait
I like most of the spinnerbaits that I have used. I am a big fan of the 1/4 oz size with double willow. My favorite color is chartreuse sexy shad. Since Strike King kind of made that name, I like theirs the best. I look fir a good blade bearing swivel and sharp 3/0 hook that is strong. i also like gold blades too.

1860 MVX v. RT188
Once again, thank you. I really like the look of that boat, ill take a look at the other one as well.

1860 MVX v. RT188
As you all probably know by now, I am looking to get a new boat. I really like the RT188, but as an angler in high school, I am not currently able to afford a new Ranger. As a substitute, I am considering an 1860 MVX All Weld. The boat and trailer come with a lot less features, but it is more affordable. I was thinking of getting the boat, trailer, and a really nice trolling motor. In the future, when I have more money, I could add a tiller and electronics. Do you think this is a better option?

New Rod?
I am DETERMINED to become confident in pitching jigs to cover this year. I currently have several rods that might work. Want to know what to add. Budget is $100 - $200. Do i even need a new rod? Also what line and techniques should i throw on each. I am talking only about jigs and pitching stuff, like texas rigs and punching, stuff like that. 2x 6'6" MH Fast https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Falcon_BuCoo_SR_Casting_Rods/descpage-FNBC.html?from=basres 2x 7'3" MH Fast https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/catpage-THFC.html?from=basres 1x 7'0" XH Fast https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/catpage-CASTRODPP.html?from=basres

Overusing a bait?
My home lake is man made and spans about 50 acres, proportional to the size of a football field (twice as long as it is wide). The lake is probably 600m long and 300m wide. At one end is a dam with rocks. the max depth is 11', as you go further back, it gets really shallow. There is a channel that is slightly deeper that goes through the middle. There is no shore cover/structure. mostly open water with a few boulders and stumps throughout. water clarity is 4' when bright sunny. Average bass is 2 lbs, average pickerel is 18" Those are the only predators besides stocked trout. I had lots of luck this year on spinnerbaits, chatter baits, and keitechs. If i only use those three lures, will i catch less at the end of the year? I don't want the fish to get used to my same lure choice before tournaments come around, and end up catching nothing.

Chatterbait what size 1/4, 3/8, 1/2
does a 5/8 oz with a 7'3" MH Fast sound good in 4-8' depth

5/0 EWG in Bass Mafia 3700?
I am currently working on my excel spreadsheet for my terminal tackle box. It is the 3700 by Bass Mafia, the red one. I don't have my box on me, and forget if a pack of 5/0 hooks fits in one or two slots. thanks

Rant
I am 16. I started fishing for bass heavily in 2016 during the summer. Come winter, I began to look into new lures, then I found youtube. Most of my basic knowledge comes from there. Later on, I found bass resource, way more informative, that is also where i noticed the little details that make all the difference in the world. Instead of learning what rod to throw a spinnerbait on in the spring from youtube, here I learned how to retrieve it, when hand why to fish it. Stuff like that. It also explains why I caught 100ish bass in 2016 (one 50 fish day) to 752 LMBs in 2017. Without this site, I would still be on Youtube right now. When I first started watching the "Big Channels", they all had like 17k subscribers. Back then they made great content. They actually taught me how to fish. ow I stopped watching because it is a joke about making money and telling kids to quit school. I sense that this sudden change in the lack of content will make dropping out of school a regretted decision in a few years, but I will be the first to say that I hope it works out for them. There is nothing better than being your own boss and waking up everyday and loving your job.

Review: Cabelas Tournament Zx Baitcasting And Spinning Rod
its an open water crankbait rod, not meant to be fished through cover. I have caught 6 lb bass 20' from the boat without a problem.

Sexy Violet Swing Impact Fat?
Have used these last season, killer for smallmouth on a local lake. Only had one pack, can't find them anywhere. Do you know where they are still sold? PS found a good video on plastic organization:

it might work, just its a med mod, so not much power, use mono or stretchy floro for best results. it will keep em hooked!

it will work great in open water and around, but not in cover.
