nice! i will admit that one of my favorite late night foods is cold pizza....... that is, when its available ! (i have a horrible habit of eating all pizza in front of me in the first sitting :)) That's why I ordered TWO pizzas and some wings. Gotta have left over pizza :D

I just finished 3 oatmeal/raisin cookies and a slice of COLD pepperoni, mushroom, black olive and green pepper pizza. And topping it off with a wad of red man golden blend.

I will probably jinx my canes by getting exited but they just went on top.

That's totally cool. Lady fish, also referred to as "poor mans tarpon" because of their acrobatic jumps, are a blast to catch. Especially on light tackle. Small ladyfish are killer jumbo Snook bait too. I'm going to have to hit the beach I guess. What times were you out there and were you north or south of Lake Worth?

Sounds like your dad had a bad case of anxiety after he hooked himself. Tell him I'm sorry for his pain but I cant help but giggle. I giggle because those Chug Bugs are deadly. I sunk the barb deep into the top knuckle of my finger with my Chug Bug. I only felt the lure smack into my finger and never felt the hook go inside until the bass, that was still attached to the bug, started to spaz out. I refused to let the doctor cut the hooks though so instead he had to cut a slice into my finger to get it out. I told him Chug Bugs were 8 bucks a pop and this one was my favorite one.

At what point is the line "too small" or how long is "long enough" to fight a fish. I fish light tackle also but not lite enough to go after records. SirSnook might use 20 mono for his Snook as I might use 15. Some use 15-17 mooo with jigs and T-rigs where I use 12. I use #4 and #6 mono on my U/L exclusively for bass but I'm not "targeting" the "hawgs."

Those are going to be so tasty. How many fish was it suggested you needed to remove? I fish a 75 acre pond also and it is FULL of bass. I'm the only one to fish it and it has always been catch n release. I was considering taking a hundred or so and relocate them.

Put a nail through its head and into a tree. Make a 1/16 incision around the head, below the gills. Grab skin with pliers and pull down. Once skinned, cut off head.

Hawk and I went out to the lake this evening around 6:15. There was a slight chop on the water and overcast skies. The conditions seemed to be in our favor so we were pretty exited to have some fun. The bite started off really good with bass busting bait all along the shore. Hawk and I hooked up on a couple decent fish right off the bat. We boated I think 6 or 7 fish in an hour before the sun went down. Once the sun went down it was like someone drained the lake of all fish. The mosquitos came out in FULL force, the wind died and the lake went flat. Hawk and I managed to boat 2 or 3 fish over the next 1.5 hours. Those 2-3 fish were also the only hits we had in the dark.
