  1. I was rigging mine T-rig with a 1/8 TT weight, unpegged and weightless. I lost'em all before I could do some experimenting . I will definitely try flipping with these baits as soon as I get them.
  2. Yes and I was very impressed. I limited out with them during a tournament but didn't cash.
  3. Rage Tail Smokin Roosters are in and mine will be shipped tomorrow. I highly recommend these baits. The swimming action is outstanding and they produce very well T-rigged, C-rigged or weightless. I ordered the Okeechobee craw color because that is all they had in stock but I have 3 other colors on back order. I suppose yall want to know where I ordered mine from. Ok, I'll tell you next week . Just kidding. Tackle Warehouse has them but only one color. Trust what I am saying and BUY a few packs. I very RARELY endorse a particular product but these baits are OUTSTANDING.... Now go get ya some .

    Me either
  5. I'm not sure what beach they were on. He usually fishes around the Power plant but we always refer to that whole area as Jenson Beach.
  6. I'd never come back to shore. Just imagine, one could watch football, fish, sleep and have shade all at the same time.
  7. I'm equally as good except when it comes to frogs. I hate frogs. The frog comes flying at me 100mph every time I set the hook.
  8. I don't have a business degree but here is what I know. You have NO business running someone elses business when you should be running your own.
  9. My brother and his two friends went surf fishing this morning up in Jenson Beach. They caught all fish on cut mullet. Blue fish. Big Spanish mackerel. Lady fish Tarpon and I think some Jack too. My brother almost got stripped before popping off by a youth poon (about 80 pounds) using his Calcutta 400.
  10. I never gave the two much thought. I've always called it "fishing."
  11. Good luck in Ida. IMO, the fishing in ida/osborne chain has been mediocre. Hawk and I were going to Lox either Sunday or Monday evening around 5pm and fish till dark. If Lox is out then I will hit my honey hole. Good luck and let us know how you do.
  12. I can't wait to get the wife with this one. WARNING: Empty your bladder before watching. AND empty your mouth of all liquid. http://www.break.com/index/girlfriend-scared-by-fake-head-in-bed.html?mrr=we
  13. I've been eying that reel for a while now. Been saving and hope to have it by the beginning of the year.
  14. That's how I would say it, but spoken with the right tone of voice. OR just keep casting towards the front. Cast right next to where his lure lands. When he gets mad then tell him his positioning skills suck.
  15. We Lost. End of story. ;D ;D ;D Hawk and I need more time on BR. We seem to find fish but just can't get anything over 2 pounds. Oh well, it's about having a good time and not about the money.
  16. Hawk and I have recently started to fish together. He and I are fishing our 2nd and last night tournament tonight from 6-10. (end of season) I'm feeling pretty confident, even though he has yet to put us on ANY quality fish. So what if it's my boat and he occupies the back seat . Anyway, wish us luck and we'll report back in a few hours.
  17. Coffee scent has been around for YEARS. I posted a thread a long time ago about old timers soaking their worms in a pot of coffee.
  18. Those were some decent bass yall caught.
  19. That's a big scale. If it came from a bass then I suggest a bigger rod.
  20. EXACTLY!!! And hey, I finally started a post that didn't get locked after 10 replys.
  21. Here's another tip... STAY AWAY from restaurants and fast food. Cook at home, it cheaper and healthier.
  22. Here is another great money saver. Pack of Culprit worms, one 3/0-4/0 hook and one 1/8 weight. Use the above to catch 4-5 bass at 1.5-2 pounds apiece. Fillet bass, cook and enjoy. 5 bass will last 10 meals, especially if you fry the fillets into nuggets and add some potatoes from your breakfast sack of potatoes. Now you are eating pretty much for less than 50 cents a meal. OR One 10 pound bass will do the same.
  23. Large carton of eggs, sack of potatoes and loaf of store brand bread. Cube a couple potatoes and cook'em. Scramble 4 eggs but add 1/8-1/4 cup milk to mak'em fluffy. Toast 2 slices of bread. Shouldn't cost more than 7-8 bucks and will last 5 days for 2 people. Now that's pretty darn cheap for breakfast at less than a dollar a day for two people. Your main goal is to buy in bulk and STAY AWAY from fast food and restaurants. Generally, you can make the same thing at home 2-4 times for the same price you spend for one dinner at a restaurant.
  24. Buy a whole chicken and a large pack of Bigo Spanish yellow rice. (Publix sells both) Boil the chicken until done. Put chicken in strainer to cool. After cooling, remove all skin and meat from bone. Save 2 cups of the chicken broth from the pot you boiled it in. Cook the yellow rice per instructions on packet BUT substitute the water with the chicken broth you saved. When rice is done, add the cut up, bite sized chicken pieces. This will be easily 3-5 meals for 2 people and very good too. I add salt, pepper and hot sauce to my portion. Total cost for a decent chicken and rice is about 8-9 bucks, tax included. Not bad for about a dollar a meal per person.
