I'm loving it. Not sure about you, but a couple of the local lakes I fish are normally packed with campers. I want these campers GONE sooner than later. Yes, they have the same equal rights as me, they just make fishing a little harder. They all seem to bring multiple kayaks so they are out there making a ton of noise, etc. Once that cold weather hits they all leave and fishing becomes peaceful.

What lure do you have the most fun throwing? Doesn't have to be the lure that catches the most or biggest fish. Me? I just found it last night. Evergreen Shower Blows. It took me just one twitch to fall in love with it. It's just fun to walk, listen to it twitch, and throw water. I may have found true love fellas (and gals). Anyways, what you got?

I threw the Shower Blows last night for the first time. 105 size. It worked perfect with 30 lb straight braid and the rod I was throwing it with. You can make bomb casts with it and not sure how mono would work on a far away strike. Good chance there would be too much stretch.

I've seen many pros say the same thing, and they fish for their livelihood.

I'm pretty sure the Spoonplugging book is supposed to be a good read regarding fishing structure. It's a book I'd love to read some day.

Just got delivered. A couple of underspins and a glide bait. Going straight home from work and taking the glide bait out this evening. Probably won't catch anything on it but the weather seems great for it right now. Just ONE fish will make my night!

IDK, there's passion and then there's overacting. I do watch his videos though because of his knowledge. He has more experience and knowledge in his big toe than I do. He's just difficult to watch sometimes.

I need to buy some boxes as well. I'm so disorganized right now I don't even know what I have and what I don't have. I want to find a good box and buy like 10 of them so they are all the same and then label them. Don't really want to spend $150-$200 on storage but hopefully it's a one time purchase.

Oh they definitely are. If I'm bored and can't do anything I'll watch them sometimes. There's also a guy on youtube that has a ton of old fishing videos that are really cool. All going to depend on what you are tossing out into the water. Stop believing your wife, size DOES matter.

If I don’t want to catch any fish I make sure I bring plenty of whopper floppers. Pretty sure I could catch more on this lure.

Mine is 6’11” basically built for jerkbaits but it handles topwater really well. Running straight braid now but might throw on a mono leader.

Can you describe these lakes/areas you are fishing. Is there decent cover? How deep? Water clarity? Have you tried night fishing?

They are probably trying to find a happy medium. Trying to make sponsors as well as fans happy.

Can and want are totally different.

I know everyone has different opinions, but watching a bass tournament where guys are just looking down at their screens and throwing a 3" minnow is impossible to watch. I want to see a Rick Clunn throwing a spinnerbait into flooded timber or a KVD working a jerkbait (not staring at a screen). Aaron Martens was always my favorite. I don't know, just me.

Yeah I've seen that on youtube, looks pretty cool. I need to sign up for the drop alerts. I should also "admit" that I bought a Throwback Metro as well. Dang thing is so pretty I don't even want to fish it. I'm going down a rabbit hole and my wife is NOT happy. LOL
